My morning workout is walking my dog around a half hour and the afternoon workout is riding my stationary bike 30-45 minutes.

I mainly use dvd workouts by Beachbody - strength training, cardio, HIITs. I have dvds by other trainers - Tae Bo, Body Groove (love that one!), Denise Austin, Buns of Steel. Weather-permitting I walk on our gravel road a couple miles and in the summer I like to do yardwork workouts such as mowing, gardening and picking up sticks that the wind blows off our trees.

with all the snow we have I am shoveling and lots of it. Plus new dog and that keeps me busy outdoors.
The y and classes except not with all the snow.
I have richards dvd's tae bo and tons of others plus wii. Treadmill I like but times I hate the confinement of it I was playing recors while jogging and that helps.

my workout today was doing two Sweatin to the Oldies videos (low impact aerobics) as soon as I came home from work. I love Richard Simmons. He has such love for everybody, and a heart of gold! I have to be really selective about what exercises I do, cause I have spinal fusion.

Today I did 50 crunches, 25 knee to elbow crunches, 15 lying single leg raises, 10 lying leg raises, and 15 hip extensions. Plus was outside slaughtering live stock, we raise our own chickens, ducks and rabbits for meat.

I am still going and going and going...I kinda feel like the ever ready bunny...haahaa
I am for the first time in my life enjoying doing exercises. Everytime I step on the scale I am NOT dreading it, I actually look forward to it.
Finally getting my life under MY OWN control is Fantastic! May you all reach your goals and grab that golden rind, Bright Blessings Tammy

Today I did the 10 minute day-1 bootcamp kickboxing video. I kept moving the entire time, but with my blown knees, I couldn't do alot of the kicks. But I moved and got my cardio in for the day.....little steps, will soon turn to big ones. hugs to everyone Tammy

Hey Everyone,
I'm here, I'm invigorated and I am EMPOWERRED....This year started off with me implimenting daily exercises and watching my calorie intake. I weigh in on wednesday so wish me luck. Today I actually did 60 lying leg curls,15 crunches, but I could only do 2 of the lying leg raises, but I tried....did a bunch of heavy house work and played with my dogs....even had time w/ my BF. Life is GREAT!

water aerobics class--it's the BEST! Chris

GOAL: Reduce A1C,BP,tryglicerides,and weight. HOW? By not eating added sugar, using Omega3s, base meals on veggies, water aerobics at least 3X week and using NuStep when I can't get to the pool.
