didnt end up doing yoga last night, so my totals for the last few days are:

7/29: 30 minutes (yoga)
7/30: 110 minutes (walking/running)
7/31: 45 minutes (stationary bike, elliptical, swimming)

07-31 = 3-min, morning, 1-min Standing Crunches, 1-min Standing Twist, 1-min Squat Cross Punches. 135-min, afternoon, doing an office job that had lots of squat-stretch-stand-repeat combo and brisk walks (and my stomach started to growl at one point LOL) and by end of the job, my arms and legs were aching madly! Total 138-min.

7/29: 30 minutes yoga

7/30: 30 minutes running, 80 walking. didnt quite make the full 30 running consecutively, had to take a little walk break towards the end. note to self: if youve already walked a mile, done the first 1/3 of the run on a rocky trail, and are running in the middle of the day in florida heat, youre probably not going to be able to perform at your best.

7/28: 75 minutes for me today - 45 walking, 30 running. felt fantastic! i was so worried that slacking off for nearly a week was going to derail all the progress i had made through c25k, but i was happy to discover that was not the case!

nothing wednesday or thursday. got off-track and i'm not liking it. tonight i finally got a key to my apartment fitness center and did 20 minutes on the elliptical, 20 on the stationary bike. i NEED to get out and run again, i've come way too far to let myself start slacking off again.

80 minutes yesterday, 7/23 - 50 walking, and 30 running, meaning that i am officially finished with the couch to 5k program!!! of course, i run REALLY slow, so it's more like couch to 4kish, but i'll get there. this was the biggest hurdle, and i'm over it. really proud of myself. taking today off cuz i damn well earned it, then tomorrow i'm hitting the trail again!

07-25 = 10-min, morning. 1-min on mini tram, 7-min intervals (14 sets of 20s exercise, 10s rest), 1-min on mini tram, 1-min stretches.

I learned new exercises but because I tried to figure out on how to do them, I ended up doing so little reps, especially when I only had 20s to do per exercise LOL

Updated Blue Team info, just corrected my numbers. I sometimes work out late at night, so I should really get better about posting the date when I check in, because I can see where that would get confusing.

thanks, CMATHUR. i finished the sparkpeople bootcamp that youre doing at the end of june, and it was SUCH a help in building healthy habits! hope youre enjoying it.

today i ran for 22 minutes and walked 75, leaving me at a total of 97! waited much too late to work out, it was scary dark on the trail as i was walking back to the car - that last minute of running was literally me booking it out to the road because i was convinced a serial killer was going to pop out of the bushes. but today was geocaching's 'get outdoors day', and...i wanted that stupid virtual souvenir. silly, but that was what motivated me.

NOPLACESPECIAL, I love how you used that half an hour instead of sitting to do something for yourself! Awesome! So inspiring!!

So 7/12 I also did a 45 minute walk at lunch, which brings my exercise minutes to 95 for yesterday.

7/13 Walked 20 minutes and going to do day 7 core workout video of my bootcamp and then tmrw is day off for rest!

1/2 hour rollerblading, 1/2 hour yoga. wasnt planning on doing any cardio today, but when i go to the laundromat i'm right by the trail, and sitting on my butt for 1/2 an hour while my clothes dry, with a pair of rollerblades in my trunk. seemed silly to let that time and opportunity go to waste!

07-11 = 15-min, afternoon. 12-min brisk walk from car to bookstore (even while on phone and escalators!), 3-min brisk walk from mall entrance to car. Didn't count walk in between as I had many stops, hehe. I also walked trying 6in platform open-too skinny heels which suprisingly comfortable!

7/10 - 30 minutes of yoga. mastered the sun salutation, now im onto the warrior series. this one's going to take me a lot longer to conquer, but i think the strength and balance its building in my legs are going to be really beneficial to my running.

07-06 = 20-min, afternoon. 12-min circuit training, 4-min cool down, 4-min stretches. After finishing the 12-min circuit training, I checked my pulse, got 150 (between 65% and 70% target heart rate). What I did for my circuit training, I did 3 sets of 4 stations (mini tram, burpees, elliptical, jump rope) with each station 45s and 15s rest after a station (15s coz I need time to move between stations and adjust my hair LOL).
