Congrats to you! I'm sure this is a place where nobody will ever tire of hearing about our successes! I just ran my first race EVER yesterday - a Half-Marathon - and also am exhilarated and proud so perhaps I'll be around tooting my horn a bit too. My pace was a bit slower than I had hoped but I'm happy that I finished (that really was my primary goal!) and I look forward to running other races (shorter ones!) once my feet and knee recover!

I ran my first HM last Sunday! It was cool, overcast, and I had a GREAT time!
I finished in 2:33. I didn't really have a time goal, just wanted to finish. But I am happy with the time, right in the middle of the pack. If I had put myself in the Philly category, I could have been first place!
Now I want to focus on getting faster. I think I'll try to get my 5k time below 30 min. My current PR is 32:11
