In the words of the disclatimer on every piece of cardio equipment at the gym. Stop exercising and see a doctor if you feel faint or dizzy. Food, water an underlying health condition etc. I can see the heat doing bad things to you or not enough fuel, but better safe than sorry.
I have to agree with Swan47 - they need to go get seen by a MD. There are so many underlying issues that could be causing or it could be as easy as food, water, electrolytes, etc. Better safe than sorry!
Could also be because the heart is just pumping so darned fast that it causes dizziness. Proper solution for that would be to slow down like maybe even walk for some minutes. If really really dizzy, head between the knees.
