Not sure if this was brave or stupid but the night before my race I got the stomach flu and puked all night but didn't tell my wife because I knew she wouldn't let me run. So I felt like death and new it was going to be a tough run but had no idea how bad. whatever could have went wrong did. I busted a hole in my shoe in my big toe, started the race and for some reason lost al the feeling in my feet until mile 6. My water belt kept falling off. dropped my mp3 player my bib ripped. But through it all my wife and I still did the race in 1.58 which I am more proud of then my pb. I will blog about the race in more details and put up pictures. But thank god I had my wife there by my side to keep me motivated!!!
