we do alot of our short runs on our own but her mom comes over on weds so we run together and on Sat for our long runs my mom comes over in the morning and we run together. we are blessed with great family support

Wow, I can't believe you guys are doing 3 in 3 weeks. That's crazy!! I don't think my knees would allow that. Can't wait to read all about them. Do you guys train at the same time? If you do, who's watching the 4 kids? Marathon training is a huge commitment and with 4 kids so young, YOU GO GUYS!!

Honestly, for parents with 4 children under the age of 5 to both train for a marathon is an amazing accomplishment. You and your wife set a great example!

Running 3 marathons in 3 weeks is amazing. You and your wife would definitely qualify as "marathon maniacs", if you are not members already. I plan on hopefully becoming a "half fanatic" by the end of this year/ early 2013.

we have defiantly put in the training. we have busted our butts for the past 6 months. we ran all winter long through the snow and everything. But our big thing is we are eating properly for marathons and that has alot to do with this group and spark people. We drink much more water the sleep well I dont get that since I have 4 kids under the age of 5 lol. but we take turns sleeping in and we work very well together to make sure we both get all our runs in!!!!

Good luck.

Three things to keep in mind: fuel, hydration and sleep. The rest is up to your training (and you have put in the time). It is great that you will have each other for support.

My wife and I signed up for our 3rd marathon in may. Basically 3 marathons in 3 weeks. we trained so hard I figured mid as well!!!!! I have pushed myself so far we are seeing the results. I want to thank this group for all your support and all your helpful tips.
