My kids get me going. Knowing that I get shortness of breath when I play with them. Knowing that one day I can run with them, helps motivate me. I also plan on being a nurse, and I know being over weight can tire me out and I want to be fit so I can go, go, go. Life is to short to live it un-healthy, so I am going to change it.

My youngest son has Cerebral Palsy and cannot stand nor walk. He motivates me everyday just by keeping a smile on his face while living his life with joy and nothing but the purest of love. My family are constant motivators because they are my world:) Noticing the changes in myself attitude, body, just everything motivates me to be and want more for myself.
Getting all new equipment to work out with and items to help me eat better (yoga mat, 5lb dumbbells, and a food scale)!

hmm.. i'm kinda low in this department.. i'm thinking the harsh winter weather has a big hand in this. but having a workout buddy definitely helps with the motivation. i'm thinking of dragging the DH to the gym kicking and screaming..otherwise we're wasting $20 a month!

Since I have a lot for motivation and I would like to come back here every now and then, I'll just post one thing that's been significant for me atm. That is my online friends. Even though I can't meet them, they are always there to talk to if I'm ever down about anything in general. I honestly can't step up without them.

My long term goal is to live a long and healthy life.
When that seems too far off a goal, I focus on being able to feel good on a daily basis. Eating healthy and exercising has a HUGE impact on how I feel.
