October was a month in fluctuation for me... I did very well, but my priorities changed a bit - so some of these goals were not met! But I'm OK with that.

* Start incorporating jogging more, so that I can run up to 5 minutes at a time without stopping
- Blew this one out of the water!

* Aim to eat 3 servings of fruits & veggies daily (currently aiming for 2)
- Have been steadily improving this one, but am not yet where I'd like to be

* Work to get myself out of bed by 5:15 daily (currently waking up between 5:30-5:45)
I just can't seem to get myself out of bed earlier :P But I've gotten more active in the evenings at least!

* Do something active for 45 minutes a day, 6 days a week (currently aiming for 30, although I've been exceeding that quite a bit!)
- I'm right on track with this one!

* Aim to lose 8 pounds (2 pounds per week)
- From October 1 to October 31, I lost 11.2 pounds!! emoticon

Hi there, I forgot to report back on these. I actually got my goal of exercising 20 days or more! I'm now pushing for 30 days of exercising 90 minutes or more a day. WhoHoo!

How did everyone else make out on their October goals?

My goals were to be 200 or less lbs. (getting close! 1 lb to go.... So I guess 198 is the Nov 1 goal! )

Stop biting my finger nails ( on day 5 of this)

Walk more (done 1 mile a day the past 3 days :)

Oops - I forgot all about making these goals! (Though I have been incorporating most!)

Here's my progress:

* Start incorporating jogging more, so that I can run up to 5 minutes at a time without stopping: I've managed this a handful of times now!

* Aim to eat 3 servings of fruits & veggies daily (currently aiming for 2): Sadly, I am not succeeding at this one as well as I'd like - got to get better about this!

* Work to get myself out of bed by 5:15 daily (currently waking up between 5:30-5:45): I just can't seem to get myself out of bed any earlier... will keep trying!

* Do something active for 45 minutes a day, 6 days a week (currently aiming for 30, although I've been exceeding that quite a bit!): Accomplishing this with no problems!

* Aim to lose 8 pounds (2 pounds per week): I started October at 264.3, and am now at 260.4, so I'm down 3.9 pounds - I'd say I'm right on track :)

Oh snap! It's already the 10th and I'm just now posting. Goodness.

Well, since I recently broke my exercise streak of a certain amount of minutes a day (streak of 18), I want to exercise that many minutes for at least 20 days in a row.

How is everyone else doing on their goals? Everyone sounds like they have some good goals going.

My goal is just to stay on track since I have an aggressive weight loss goal by Christmas...
Eat within my calorie range, walk at least 30 minutes a day (or the exercise bike if it's raining), and strength training 3x/week.

My October goals are to continue to work on eating better and not have as many "slip" days. I also want to work harder on losing and staying focused on that...this one will be hard since I have a trip to CA scheduled to visit friends and family and to go to an "All Class" HS reunion.
