Here are the final results. It was a two way tie for first with the same amount of weight loss but Amber325 is the biggest loser this time around. Amber let me know where you want your $30 gamestop card to be sent to. Please report any errors in the totals to me to correct.

Wow, Amber! What a contest you made this. Just following my simple calculations, it looked like I had the lead for a while and you not only beat me, but you blew right past me in percentage lost. I know I'm not the official score keeper, but from what I see, this is totally awesome!!
Thanks to everyone for making this a fun contest. It really kept me going to see everyone post here on a regular basis.

I didn't take a picture this morning but since I ended up on the + side instead of the - side I have not been in the race for this one at all. LOL
YAHOO! worked my ass off all week and was in calorie range :) GREAT JOB EVERYONE!
Still need to email my pic but will do so in the next hour or 2 :) I took a pic of the wii fit person and then the graph to show it is pretty accurate with other losses.

Great job! That is a very good pace. That shows you have done it right and will likey keep it off. Well done!
I average 5 lbs a month, and that is right on point for my average!
Not as bad as I thought for my gain! I had an injury and lots of swelling, not too bad but I am retaining lots of water, I can tell.
Great challenge everyone :)

GOT BATTERIES FOR THE scale and still dead! Hubby said something fell on it last night :( How it can weigh him at 300 lbs...and not break...yet something falls kills it!
So may run out to target and get new one tomorrow. My Wii fit is usually similar to my scale ....so if I don't get one I will be sending a wii pic.
what is the email again?

Not that my vote counts, but I vote as a "yes" for allowing the Wii Fit picture. You may want to make sure it matches what you have been putting in as measurements. On the graph, compare what you have weighed on Wii Fit and compare that with the date and weight you have been posting here. If they are pretty much the same, I don't have any issue with it.
I LOVE having the Wii Fit to weigh in with each morning. Keeps me on track. It is especially embarrasing when it asks why I gained weight.

I might actually be up this week from last! :( Water retention, because I've been eating fine and working out a lot! One meal out last weekend that I didn't track, but I still did much better than I would have before. Oh well - I'm still on my journey!

lol, can't believe I let last week slide by. Ugh, been busy. I actually gained a little more because I was eating a lot of carbs prior to the race. I'm working it off, but not enough for a net loss yet.
This has been an exciting competition. Hats off to everyone. Can't wait to see the final push on Friday. I think this will be the first Spark contest I started and finished. Wow. Now just to remember to send in that picture on Friday.

Wow, I can't believe there's only one week left in the challenge!
Amber: I record most DVD workouts as circuit training or aerobics. (As I understand it, curcuit training is alternating between short segments of strength and cardio.) I usually try to break the workout down into sections like warmup (tracking something with a low burn like walking slowly), stretching/yoga, pilates, etc. Sometimes I use a timer to figure out how many minutes of each are in the video, and sometimes I just guess.
If the video is all about strength training, I record the warmup/cooldown/whatever, and then halve the strength segment's minutes (assuming half is rest time and getting in/out of position). I usually track strength training as "calisthenics".
I have not watched many of the SparkPeople workout videos, but I suppose you could pick one in the tracker that sounds most like the video you did and use that for quick tracking. :)

ok how is the best way to record DVD workouts? I did the biggest loser boot camp yesterday and the biggest loser power sculpt today. Not sure what it is considered when I search :)
thanks!
On a side note the scale may be fighting me this week...BUT my nice watch that has not fit in 4 years DOES now!!

I think the new EA Sport Active for Kinect comes with a heart rate monitor to better track calories burned.

Thankfully, video games seem to be taking a positive path towards including calorie counting in them. Dance Central and Grand Slam Tennis are two games that aren't "workout" type games, but do give you a workout and thankfully count calories.
As for calorie burn, there are several devices that are similar to the BodyBugg. They actually measure the exact amount of calories you burn, which is pretty cool. I think heart rate monitors will give you a pretty decent idea.
What kind of is a bummer is that the more you lose, the harder you have to work to get the same burn. I've recently had to drop how many I burn a week in my goals because of it. I was burning 1000 a day in 90 minutes or so. Not so anymore....

yeah I mainly want it to track calories burned...since the treadmill est seems very low...and curious how much videos/games etc burn :)

Yes, they work. Some people get them to make sure they stay in a sweet spot of cardiac exercise. However, you are testament that you can lose weight without one. It might be fun to get one that also gives you an idea of calories burned.

Been trying to get under 220 for a few weeks now! It keeps going up and down between 220.2 and 222.0!!! I thought I had it today, but guess not. At least it's still going down!

Oh man, looks like Amber is at it again this week. Meanwhile, I gained a bit from some intense snack attacks. Not that they attacked me, but I attacked them. I better buckle down for our final two weeks here. Good luck everyone.

I think figuring out what you want to eat BEFORE you go is KEY! Of course non-chain restaurants are more difficult because they don't usually share their nutritional info - but they also might be more willing to customize a meal.
I have looked at a restaurant online thinking I would get one thing, but saw how BAD something really was, and changed my mind. It's easy to get talked into the bad for you item when you don't go prepared.
Of course - I think it's ok to just go and have what you want sometimes! Just don't stuff yourself and enjoy it. We all need an indulgence every now and then.
Hope everyone is doing well - I have a challenge that does a Saturday weigh-in and a Sunday weigh-in: I forgot to weigh today, so I'll prob post here tomorrow!

lol, I saw your post come in and I thought it was Friday too! Kind of relieved...I've gained a little with all this Halloween candy around. Thankfully my son knows exactly every piece he has and will NOT share with me. lol
I'm glad to see you are still tracking during maintenance. I've seen several people reach that point and stop tracking. They think they know and before they realize, their portions are big again and they are a few pounds heavier.
Glad to see you had a good week too. Two date nights is always a plus. Especially in this busy world.
I am weiging in early because I was thinking it was Friday today! lol
Thanks for the words of encouragement, LifeAndAll1! I am learning a lot by continuing to track everything through maintenance. For example, eating out almost every night this past week did not go so well. I ate "small portions" visually, but gosh, they sure do find ways to cram lots of calories into restaurant food. Apparently, I need to go back to my usual ways of choosing the restaurant and menu item *before* I leave the house so that I have the calories calculated before I eat them. :P Fortunately, I normally eat out less than once a week. This past week had parties, vegan week, and two date nights with spouse (yay!), so it was a bit unusual. xD
