Well I'm going to recommend My fitness Coach it is amazing and for the 30bucks they want it's worth it..it has over 450 exercises to it and uses the equipment that you already own...

My daughter got herself a Wii with Christmas money she got. I gave her the Wii Fit but I really haven't had too much of a chance to use it. The little that I've used it, I've enjoyed =)

I'm going to be rooting you on and encouraging you...I can't do it again right away because it's important as much as possible to switch it up so the body don't get use to it...and to answer your question about my knees they were much better go round as a matter of fact I didn't have any problems with them at all...I've been doing that My fitness coach and it's great....did you get that yet or do you have a wii fit yet

I only do level one for the 30 days and I do other dvds and the wii fit as well...This month I lost 8.7 lbs so I just say 9 lbs...I'm very happy with the results

hehe, its sounds like we're both in the same boat...

I missed two days (last Monday and Friday) but I made one of them up. I hope to make the other up this Monday or Tuesday.

I'm also seeing my weight up too but it may be a wonky scale. I'm having fun so far. I've heard level two is a killer...

Ok Jose I gained 1.6 lbs this weeks...don't know whats up with that...in my defense I did get two different reading...my scale is usually pretty acurate so i'm going to change the batteries later...I've been keeping up with the work outs thoug I even did two in one day because I missed a day...so how are you doing

SohoJose I missed tonight out all day long and just couldn't do it when I got in but I will do it twice tomorrow once in the morning and once in the afternoon...How are you doing with it...I think I need to buy heavier weights...I think I'm ready for 5 or even 8 lbs weights

It's a great video. I had serious doubts about it but it provides an amazing work out.

The best part about it is that you don't need a whole lot of equipment - just two hand weights and maybe an exercise mat.

BTW, if anyone's curious, this is a great video that will work you pretty hard. It's pretty easy to get and all you need is one set of hand weights of whatever you can use (ie 1 lb, 2 lbs, 5 lbs weights)

not for a while. I just have to work up the strength in my knees to do it again. However, I am working on doing 10 squats every day. I figured out that they're not as hard as I thought--since I always thought that the upper body stayed straight up and could never figure out how to keep the knees from going out past the toes.

But since I figured out that it's more of a motion to the back (like sitting--although I always heard it's "like sitting down", now I know what it means) and that the upper body does move forward some, I can do them. I probably lean forward more than I should, but I can do them.

Anyway...I do my 10 squats a day--usually while brushing my teeth and getting ready for bed. (It just fits in well there, lol.)

Hi guys,

Sorry for the lack of updates. Had to deal with some health issues for a family member. Things appear ok now.

I just completed the first workout session. I'd start but never finish before due to people coming and need me. So tonight I figured I wait until everyone was in bed to do the work out. I did it and it went great. In this case, great means it kicked my butt really hard.

The crunches are hard and I've never been good at them anyways (I'm sure I have bad form). I didn't have the weights but I'm glad I didn't. The workout was very hard to begin with anyway.

Tema, I hate this video... in a good way =) Thanks for turning me on to it. It was a great workout and just what I needed to get back into the swing of things.

I know what you mean MommyT the last week and a half my legs feet and ankles swell up so bad and it made it really hard to do the jumping jacks and jump rope...Jose all you need are some weights like MommyT said make it challenging enough for you...I used 5lbs and believe me I felt it...also I did the first level 30straight to scared to move on to level two...silly me I know but i'm going to try level two starting this Sunday

I keep thinking I might try it again--using modified jumping jacks and walking instead of the "jumping rope" (no rope used, just pretend) and the butt kicks (or do those slow like I was walking instead of bouncing)...there's just a LOT of bouncing/jumping in that first one (I haven't seen or tried the others).

But I think I'll try it and then I am reminded that my knee still complains at time and then think I'm crazy. I just haven't figured out if I can do it safely or not.

you need the video and I know the general idea for the girls I was to do this with was either 3 or 5 lbs. dumbbell weights.

It's designed for you to do each video 10 times--start with one, do 10 days, go to 2 for 10 days and then 3 for 10 days.

I think each workout is 20 minutes long (although it might be 30). And It's meant to be done for 30 days (hence the name).

But the weights is just something you'll have to figure out for yourself on how challenging it is (or isn't) for you.

Hi there!

I could be talked into it. I got the video but don't have the instructions.

Looking at the video, I see that there are three levels. How does this work? I assume you workout for 30 minutes and then do the other levels as you progress.

Do I need anything else? What kind of weights do I need?

Absolutely NOT!

I did it once and killed my knee. It was sore for days and then after I can still feel it every now and then getting on and off of the floor with it (like when I'm on my knees on the floor--it's still a tad bit sore/sensitive). It really feels like I weakened my knee from it.

Another girl I know did it and she didn't really see any weight loss when she was using it, only when she was off for a few days did she lose. (She had to take off of it to do a 5k and she was sick some.) She's hoping it was just causing some muscle gain, because she does say that it really works for her--she was quite sore for the first few days. (Most people seem to say that the first few days can be really painfully sore, especially in the legs.)

It might be for some people...and maybe 400 lbs. plus people CAN do jumping jacks--but I can't.

I would like to challenge everyone to try this dvd it is totally awesome...yes I feel like a spokesperson for this dvd....I just finished it today and in the last 30 days I have lost 11lbs...and I know without a doubt I would have lost more but towards the end my legs, feet and ankles got pretty swollen so I know that put some more weight on me....I'm going to start this up again this coming Sunday who wants to join me....we can do this....who's in
