HAHAHAHA LOBO that sounds funny! But true enough, I have seen PT that are really not that into their preaching.

I measured my fat% today, and I am smack in the middle of "optimal" so quite happy. yay!

Thanks for that great thumbs up for support. We appreciate that nod of confidence. yeah I would have to aggree that it is expensive to get a trainer. I wish they would lower their rates. I mean some of the ones I had in the past were more out shape than I was. Geez.

Yesterday I had a free personal training session. It was awesome! It was probably the best workout I've had in about 5 years. Of course he wanted me to sign up but I told him that it's just too expensive and I told him that I do have a great support group that I work with.

Thanks guys
oh if you want some motivation go to youtube and search a guy named bangstun he is awesome.

I have to agree with that comment. I think that is a big accomplishment.

Quite the contrary, this doesn't sound bad, it sounds pretty good to me! Even if your body fat was 20%, that is still a decent number and certainly nothing to beat yourself up about!

Your doing great. I think I got kicked in the balls to yesterday when instead of doing wii fit I did DDR instead. Man. I was so off. I am not sure if it was the bad or I was just too ahead of the steps. I hit every step but I was mostly to fast and did not get alot of perfect steps.

Yeah I do 10 to 15 minutes of cardio every day and on some days I try to do interval training since I read it gets you faster results. I've mainly been doing the bikes since I enjoy riding the most.

Yes if you are changing the groups then of course that`s resting :) So how many workout days of each muscle group have you had? Are you doing cardio as well? (since that will be what will burn fat)

Still you can expect at least a month since you started working out/cardio before you see a decrease, since your body will first try to hold on to what it has...

That said, I`m no expert, but I think you`re doing a good job :D

I rest target muscle groups like I do tri's and chest then the next day I do bi's and back then the next day I do shoulders and calves then I do abs and legs so whould you consider that resting?

Yes I understood you rested a day, but if you were doing strength, you need to rest the next day after every workout for muscles to re-build.

I haven`t done the displacement test, but it is the only way to have an accurate fat percentage. I don`t think it is necessary, since if you do the electric one often enough you see a pattern and can work on that.

I didn't do 12 workouts in a row, I did 6 and then rested one day then went 6 and I'll rest tomorrow. Have you ever done a water displacement test...they look really cool but I've only seen them on tv

15% or 16% would actually be rather low! Even with 12 workouts in a row, your body needs time to adapt...

What kind of test did they do? If it was not water displacement, then you have to allow for a minimum 3% error range, which would put you at 17%

Remember that you did the test after the workout so you were probably dehydrated, which can have a huge difference if they are doing electronic testing.

Feel good! You`re doing just fine!

I went to the gym for the 12th time in 13 days, I felt good, strong, and sweaty. So after feeling pretty accomplished I headed over to the personal trainers area and asked to get a body fat reading, he asked what I thought my percentage was and I said probably around 15 or 16 since I hadn't worked out in a year. So we go and weigh me and I weighed 180 and then I took the test and it was 20%....I was shocked. So I scheduled a free session with him on monday, man I feel really really low.
