I still have not started this contest. I weighed myself this morning and read it to say 289.7. Geez. That was a real shock to me and a wake up call. Tonight I am really working on starting this six week challenge. Day one starts today.

I think we will give that contest a 3 month rest before bringing it back. It was nice to have but the spring break holiday really messed up the cycle. I will keep you posted on when we bring it back.

I will probrably be starting the challeng today too. Do not worry abou the biggest loser challenge. It will make a return back later down the road. It had a great 5 month run and a lot of active partcipants. It needed to get some rest for now to try new things.

Wow! What a fun challenge! I'm returning from a rather difficult past few months. But I would love to participate in this. I will probably not start until Wednesday evening 04/16/08. Now we can alternate between Wii Sports and DDR? Also is there going to be another Biggest Loser challenge? Or am I just lost?

Tomorrow is my massage day so I chose to go all out and do 70 minutes on Wii Fit. Between Boxing and Tennis you can get a great work out.

What I also do is some leg kicks between the tennis matches to the music for more of a work out.

My life has been crazy but I've been trying. I missed yet another day but then played DDR yesterday. I haven't had my workout for today yet but I'll update my weight when I do.

Yesterday and today I was able to get over 40 minutes in on Wii Fit.

ha!! taggy has to do cardio everyday now because of his diabetes!! I'll see if I can't get him in on this and we will either do this together or separately.

I ended up only having a light workout yesterday (tsk tsk) but I had a full 30 minutes of DDR today.

I just can't seem to fit things in on Friday unless I workout before I leave campus.

I love doing updates. They keep me on track and prevent me from just assuming I can take a day off without feeling bad.

But anyway, day 2 was my DDR and my normal gym cardio workout.
So here I am.
Day 2/42
Weight 227 (but considering I'm not losing over a pound a day, I can assume I measured wrong yesterday or today... I'll assume yesterday)

Then today is my official start day.

I started at 228.5 pounds when I weighed myself today.
I played about 30 minutes of DDR, 45 minutes of a basic fencing lesson (only my second time ever), and did my PE class. (It sounds insane if I look at all of it. Let's see how I feel tomorrow.)

Well its is pretty much 42 days of straight cardio workouts. I guess I should have called it the 30min for 42 day challenge. Its just to get us moving. I think if you skip a day or two it would be okay.

I'm starting this today - going to focus on DDR for 6 weeks. I just weighed in today and my starting weight is 136 (down 3 from 5 days ago). My goal is to lose 10 pounds in 6 weeks. I'm also doing a 4-month couch to 5k program as well, and walk/running 3-4 days per week.

I'm also doing a lose 20 pounds by July challenge, and trying to stay in my calorie range for that.

I'm already on a 100 day DDR Challenge so this should be fun. My only question is if it needs to be every day or if occasional days may be skipped (the plan is to not skip any but things happen that may prevent me from playing.)

I'll do plenty of updates... although I'm less likely to do them for weight because I try not to do that frequently... I'd get too stressed over daily fluctuations.

I want it to be more of a daily post. I really do not like the edit post for six weeks thing. I would just keep it simple. Well first lets start off by saying what day you are on. This is a 42 day challenge. Start off by stating your first day one weight and we will read posts all the way up to day 42. On day 42 you give us your final weight but you can give us the progress along the way like say Day 7 I weighed this much and did DDR 30 minutes. I like long threads and dont mind the reading them. Motivates to see everyone that posts after you. Its hard to tell the other way when people are actually posting and you have scroll all the way down the page to edit yours and you really do not notice everyone elses posts.

I have a renewed challenge to issue for Wii Sports and DDR combined. We all heard about that one guy that lost weight playing nothing but Wii Sports for 6 week for 30 minutes a day. My challenge is the same challenge. I want us to report our progress on the challenge and aim for 30 mintues every day of DDR and Wii Sports. Can you meet the challenge.
