So ended up playing a little of the game yesterday. So you start the game off as convicted felon that may or may not have killed his wife in the back of a police car heading to their destination when suddely the car strikes a walker and crashes. This is point and click action adventure game from the AMC series the Walking dead but takes place with another band of surivors. You decsision ultimately affect the ending of the game.

There's a slightly bigger change in the story (but not much) when you get to venture in the day and meet two guys moving a car or venture at night and get assistance from two police officers. And I want to add that I would have enjoyed a Back to the Future game. :(

Thanks everyone for the great reviews so far. I liked the back to the future series that was released last year on PSN but I have not had a chance to finish it. I can't wait to get my hands on this game.

Played through episode 1 the other night. It's really fun, and has some great scares in it. I started to replay the game to see how different choices would affect the game, but right know the choices seem to make a small arc, and the lead back to the main story. I'm curious to see if the chapter will end differently after I replay the whole thing.

I highly recommend this game if your a Walking Dead fan, or a point and click adventure fan!

So I am a big fan (like most people) of The Walking Dead and finally the game was released on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. For $5, I picked it up as soon as I got home Friday morning. It was great! It kind of played like an interactive comic book, with your choices changing the story as you go. I played while in chat with a buddy and his wife who were also playing. I had to take my headset off because she was screaming so much. The suspense and anticipation I get from the books and tv series is the same here. I jumped a few times, but I was also on the edge of my seat the whole time. I had a better time with this $5 game than I did watching Cabin in the Woods in the theater the next night. It's episode 1 out of 5, so I can't wait for more to come. If they release one episode a month, it might hold off the hunger until the series comes back... maybe?

I've enjoyed TellTale's Back to the Future and Sam and Max. I think an adventure game is the right style for The Walking Dead because the focus is usually on story rather then action. I wonder if it's using the comic of the show as source material.

Well this is not a normal full retail game. It will be similar to the Back the future game that TellTale games did in 6 episodes. I know glen will be in it as part of the back story but it focuses on entirely new characters. We will wait and see how it turns out. I am sure it will not cost as much as a full retail game.

Can't say I'm particularly excited. There feels like an over saturation of zombies in the market these days. Can't turn around without running one over O_o. I suppose as long as half the game isn't hanging around Hershel's farm chatting ( a la season 2) it'll be fine XD
