I haven't played it, but was also curious so I did some reading about it. You don't actually use the kinect in gameplay, but instead there is bonus content where you and a friend can cast spells at skeletons (don't hold me to that) by rearing back your hand 'throwing' spells at them.
Didn't look too interesting to me, but I'll probably gamefly it still.
The game would sound interesting if I was a Harry Potter fan. Still waiting for the Starwars game to come out later either this year or next.
