Picked up some more acheivements on this game. I picked up Best of the Best and New Sheriff in town. I finally got my Sniper Expert one, Scholarly Achievement and close to getting my max out character at 60 and the two ally acheivement along with second play through acheivement. Wow thats alot of them to list. After I am done I will try my hands out an adept and engineer achievements. All i have to do to get those is cast the skill 75-150 times and it doesnt have to target anything.

I'm always playing paragon. I did a single game of renegade of ME1 but I always wanted to choose the paragon options. I like to do the fun rude comments sometimes to start a fighter faster but when it comes to big decisions I usually want to do the paragon option. Unfortunately there isn't any bonuses for being a neutral character.

I used an exposed glitch in the game that allowed you to get infinite paragon and renagade points. I got my achievement for renegade but then turn back around and maxed out my paragon. I can never play the darker side.

You know what. I didnt make a custom chacter i just went with the default shepard that is just a solider. I think if I make my own then I will be able to create my character to be vanguard and other stuff. Oh well I guess I will just work with Solider right now till I max him out at 60 then on my other 2 play throughs I will create the vanguard. Yes the ending was incredible.

Hmmm, I thought there were six classes to choose from: Soldier, Engineer, Adept, Infiltrator, Sentinel, and Vanguard. Vanguard is a combo of Solider and Adept. ME1 kind of limits the weapons a vanguard can use and I'm not sure if there are limits on the "spells". In ME2, the vanguard totally rocked. You could hookshot some spells in over the enemies cover, pull them out, rush in, and kick some booty.

Isn't the end story of ME awesome? I don't want to spoil too much here, but holly cow.

Yeah I have ME2 but I was wanting to finish my game first on ME1 to carry over my character into ME2.
So is Vanguard something that I get in ME1. I though it was only Engineer, adept and solider. I could be wrong. I was just playing solider again to get the level 60 acheivement since I already got the level 50 one.

Do you have ME2? If so, you may want to consider a run using your Vanguard. The Vanguard in ME2 is pretty amazing to play. You can carry over what you did in ME1 to ME2. I think a lot of the acheivements you get as a adept can be gotten by using a vanguard, but not sure.

Well finally beat the game. I could not put down the controller yesterday and I was really satisfied on how I played through However the only grip is that I played with two team mates throughout the game and did not manage to unlock the acheivement for them. Of course I did not use them the whole way through so that explains it a bit. I am going through it again but this time I will be more of a renagade. I should unlock 2 ally achievement. 2nd playthrough achievement, Sniper achievement, Renagade Achievement, super star Acheivement, New sheriff in town acheivement, Best of the best, achievement. Then after that I will do a playthrouhg as adept to get the those special skill achievements. along with 2 more allied acheivements, I will not have to go through those search mission to get them because it will take forever. I think I could beat it in half the time. First time took me 40 hours.

I use to love that in ME1. Getting out of the mako and then sniping geth super far away. It was a necessity on insanity for sure.

I could not get into Dragon Age. I tried at least 3 times last year and it just wasn't working for me.

I've seen that DA2 will take more ME approach but will also keep more of the rpg elements so I'm intersted in it for sure.

Also KOTOR was amazing. I remember being so mad when they announced KOTOR online. Although now with my Wow playing I can see enjoying a KOTOR online very much.

You're making me want to go through and play. Right now though, trying to get through Dragon Age before the new one comes out. BioWare knows how to put together a great game and story.

Now, if they only will make another Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for the console.

I literally could not put down my controller last night. I was paying from 8PM through Midnight doing the side quests in the game. Picked up the 250th synthetic kill and 150 rifle kill achievement. Working on the pistal right now that really does not fire like a pistol because its so maxed out its blowing people away. I used the sniper rifle a bit taking out the big guns on a geth mission by shoting them from the mountains so my vehicle does not take too much damage.

Mass Effect 1 was the first game on 360 that really grabbed me. People complained about the tech problems and mako driving and such but that game has got the richest backstory and solid gameplay of any game. I felt like I did when I first started watching Star Wars as a kid. I deleted a lot of saves but I've played through ME1 at least 8 times. I'm actually planning on going through again in 2011 so I can just redo my character through ME2 to have the best possible ME3 character ready to go.

I haven't gotten to play, mostly because my husband adores the two Mass Effect games and stole them. However, they are awfully fun to watch as well. He plays as female Sheppard and I love her! We also tend to walk around going "Sheppard" "Wrex" randomly.

I enjoyed it. it was one of the only ones that I ended up completing!
I feel like I missed something though, because I am not sure I loved it as much as the reviews made me think I would.
I think 2 is a little better, but I have only started playing it (actually have not played in awhile.)

I know this game has been out for quite a while and that it has won numerous game of the year nomination the year it came out but geesh. I have just gotten around to playing it since I got mass Effect 2 for XMas and i have not been able to drop my controller for one second. The game plays almost like gears of war but with magic and force shields. THe RPG element added with the leveling up and choseing where those experience points. THis game is a good mix of all those elements. Although I do have some complaints the good out weighs it greatly. See you online. I will probrably give it another playthrough.
