I got it, mostly because EVERYONE else seems to have gotten it. I wanted to be able to play what my friends have been playing. So far, it is more of what you have come to expect. A lot of the perks and killstreaks have been slimmed down. At first I was disappointed that I couldn’t get on a roll as easily, but then I realized the same is true for the other players. Not as easy to have the whole map filled with things making me die.
The campaign is pretty good so far. Good story, but almost no pacing. It is full throttle the whole time. Action, action, and more action. Almost becomes tiring.
Zombie mode is back and is fun.
Something is missing for me though. I almost miss some variety. I’ll probably pick up Halo Reach before too much longer.
Couple of side notes: I’m using Kinect to play. Yup, that is right, using my Kinect. I use it as a chat device. I hear the people through the TV and I talk via Kinect. Makes it feel like they are in the room almost. No headset to tie you down.
Also, I try to play standing and doing strength training in between matches. Seems to be a great way to keep me energized for the matches AND helps me overcome my motion sickness.
