Thanks for the review. I hear this is great but I don't have a PSP. =(
That being said, the Playstation Blog mentioned that they were considering a PS3 port so maybe I'll get to play it someday =)
Or maybe the new rumored PSP will force me to buy a new system. =)

Thanks for the review. Definitely one I want to pick up. I liked the first one, although I only got a few levels in so far.
This above all: to thine ownself be true.
Lord Polonius. Act 1 scene 3. Hamlet
Well those creepy little Eyeball Armies are back, dancing to the finger drums of war. But the second game is much more nicely put together! The visuals are pretty much the exact same, but the game play is so much more expanded. Difficulty Levels, Evolution Charts, Amped up Mini-games, Hero-pons, Online Co-Op and more I haven't seen yet! If you enjoyed the first game, you will LOVE the second game, it's very addictive if you are an RPG grinder.
My favorite part is trying to build up my Rarepons, this implies alot of item collection, which involves alot of practice with the drums of fingerwar, which means I'm good at Fevermode now. The battles are the same, except for the added bonus in Hero-pon and his little "Limit Breaks" for good beats. The real changes are to the Mini-games, Which you can find by beating most of the -lvl 3- challenges of defeated areas. Also the online mode is interesting, yours and three other Hero-pons face off against bosses in the game. To face these bosses, you need to find Eggs scattered around the game. To say the least, it's an amusing addon to the series.
Anyhoo, I think this is one of the best PSP games out there, and at 20 bucks, it's worth every penny in my opinion.
