We still have a PS2 and every time I go to Tarjay I really want to buy Singstar (80's or just the regular one). Do you guys think it's worth it?

Audrey Hepburn didn't sing, she lip-synched. Keira is just as beautiful and as good an actress, that will work well, I think. "wouldn't it be luvverly?"

Yeah, that would be smart on their part. If they use obscure songs, no one will buy the game except for musical theatre lovers. So many more people know those shows because of the movies.

I heard they are redoing My Fair Lady with Keira Knightly playing Eliza most likely. I didn't know she could sing, but apparently so. That should be a good remake.

Bearing in mind the film and stage show at the moment, what about Mamma Mia, Abba songs, everyone knows those backwards.
Bet you're humming Mamma Mia now aren't you? lol

AAHHH noooo! LOL those shows are good, just a little tired perhaps.
Heehee in my dream world they would come out with a whole series of games, either by decade or composer. But my all time favorite shows that I would love to be included are Wicked (my absolute fav!), Into the Woods, Falsettos, Jekyll & Hyde, Ragtime, A New Brain, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, She Loves Me, Scarlett Pimpernell, Aida, Chess... I could go on lol. Wow I really am a dork!
I hope they put some Andrew Lloyd Webber on there. The only draw back to that is how bad he got butchered on AI. That one guy with long hair singing "Memory" was dreadful! Hahaa pun intended! (see dork comment above lol)

The showtune list is confirmed already. It will have Hello Dolly and Oklahoma on it. j/k Hey, they are good in their own right. It would be interesting to see if they throw any Andrew Lloyd Weber stuff on there.

What is your cup-of-tea? What show tunes are you really hoping to be on there?

Very cool! I read they might also be coming out with a Broadway version! Although I think I am one of the few people who is actually incredibly excited about that lol. I have been wanting a showtune karaoke game since Karaoke Revolution first came out! I just hope it has good songs on it and not the cheesy over used one like "The Sun will Come out Tomorrow".

For you Singstar fans out there, looks like you will soon be able to rip the old Singstar disks to your HD and use them in the PS3 version. As some of the comments in the article mention, you can now go get your Singstar: Disney Singalong disk and have at it!
