'Guitar Hero On Tour' Track List Revealed
Posted by Stephen Johnson - Wednesday, April 30, 2008 6:29 AM

In the latest issue of Nintendo Power magazine, Activision revealed the full track list for Guitar Hero On Tour, the DS version of the game. Here's what you will (or won't) be rocking to:

Do What You Want - OK Go
All The Small Things - Blink 182
Spiderwebs - No Doubt
Are You Gonna Be My Girl - Jet
We're Not Gonna Take It - Twisted Sister
All Star - Smash Mouth
Breed - Nirvana
Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield
Hit Me With Your Best Shot - Pat Benatar
This Love - Maroon 5
Heaven - Los Lonely Boys
Helicopter - Bloc Party
China Grove - The Doobie Brothers
Rock and Roll All Nite - KISS (cover by Line 6)
What I Want - Daughtry

As far as we know, those 15 songs are the entire track list...They're fine songs and all, but seriously, must we include Blink 182 on every music game? And Smash Mouth? Really? Leave you opinion in our comment section.

I got the game Guitar Hero 2 for the 360 and I have to admit that the game is very adicting. I have not been so motivated to try to unlock all the songs and try my hand at trying to play a guitar eventhough its not a real one. LOL. I would love to get rock band and the aerosmith guitar hero later this year.

Music and games, Finally a game that combines two of my favorite things. I have pretty much the whole Guitar Hero collection minus the 80's edition. I like it, but i would rather pay 20 bucks for a game that has a lot less games than the other games. On guitar hero i tend to play on Hard or expert, but once i get lower down the list with the songs it gets real tricky. Now on Rock Band i really haven't played the guitar much. I have been stuck playing the drums. I am used to playing guitar that i guess i wanted to try something different. On hard the drums get tricky. Just started the expert career.. although still need lots of work on that. i end up letting go of the stick and it flies in the air and some how manages to hit me in the head.

Things are going pretty well. I even have a contest going on in my Team Lambeau Field HQ. Very competative.

Me and my wife joined a gym and it is goin great. I go about 5 days a week when she goes 6-7 days. Our progress is going pretty well.

So if there are some Wii GH3 players and want to play online let me know.

It's great to be back.

I have GHIII on 360. I've played almost all the way through hard (Raining Blood is nearly impossible, I swear) and about half-way through expert. I play online sometimes, but its hard to find someone who is around my level. I usually play against people who either are just beginning hard or who have memorized Through the Fire and Flames on expert (I can do it on medium with little trouble, but can't even beat the intro on hard).

The only one I saw do that was me. So I posted it here to see if anyone else would want to play online.

Hey Bigpoppawl, I saw someone else with a GHIII friend code. They posted their info on the "gamer tag" thread, but I forget exactly who it was.

I have GH3. I am on Hard and is messing with Expert (Too Much Time I Guess).

Do any of you play GH3 online? If so can I get your GH3 friend code?

I LOVE Guitar Hero. We have GHII and we've played GHIII (but don't own it...yet). I can only play up to medium and I totally agree with you LIFEANDALL, when a game gets TOO difficult, I get frustrated. My two sisters can both play on hard, though (it's crazy!) and one can play a few songs on expert (even crazier!) I can only play Radium Eyes on hard. Everything else I play on medium.

That sounds like a lot of fun. A great family experience. I wonder what new things they will do to attract entire families. Maybe something like that "scene it" game for the xbox where they give out special controls that are like game show controls.

Speaking of GHIII, there are some new songs available to download. There is a FREE pack of Dropkick Murphy songs coming soon, in time for St. Patrick's Day. You may know them from either the MLB game with Manny Ramirez on the cover or from the movie "The Departed". They are Boston based with some pretty fun tunes.

Finally, did anyone pick up Aerosmith's "Dream On" a couple weekends back? It was available and free for a couple days only. They are trying to get people interested in the GH: Aerosmith game coming up.

I'm the first to admit I shouldn't REALLY be in this forum :) But I'm in a family of gamers and do enjoy participating with them!

I need to work on finishing GH2 on easy - and that's about all I'll do I think! Medium seems too hard. Hubby finished GH3 on Medium, but doesn't think he'll try Hard either. I tried a few GH3 songs on easy too. But I'm the singer on Rock Band and totally enjoy that even though I really don't think I'm a good singer! We play as a family - hubby on guitar, daughter (14) on bass, son (7) on drums and I sing! We still do easy as well. But it's fun :)

Too funny. Playing GH3 like a cello will cause a lot of blue in your life. Sometimes I will play sitting down (I know, I know...blasphemy!), but the angle at which I'm sitting also triggers the blue automatically. I'm still getting a kick out of picturing you holding the guitar like a cello and playing. I'll have to try that sometime...mix it up a bit.

I've only got GH3 and usually play on easy. I used to play the cello and can't get the hang of the guitar at such a weird angle so I usually play it upright. My hubby keeps on yelling for me to move up a level but that blue freaks me out whenever I see it.

My husband and I play rock band over at a friend's house. I usually play the drums because I don't mind, and everyone else wants to switch between the guitars and vocals.

Most of us play on easy, but one of our friends plays guitar parts on medium and bass parts on hard for most of the songs.

That will be a good idea since you can use the guitar hero guitar on rock band but not the other way around.

Cool, I was thinking about how Rock Band would be on guitar. I didn't want to fork over the money for the whole kit, but might pick up the game itself just for the song list. The list is incredible, not to mention all the songs you can download. Absolutely incredible.

I have all 3 Guitar Heroes and Rock Band. I can play some of the easier GH songs on hard but the orange button royally screws me up. Medium is almost boring but I lack the pinky-finger dexterity to move on ;)

Rock Band songs are somewhat easier to play on hard, I can't get past medium on most songs with drums, and I can sing most songs on hard.

Actually as a drummer, I suck at guitar... lol that includes GH3. My wife on the other hand has been playing it constantly and is currently on Med. Last time I checked she was on Lou. :-)

Who here has one of these? What level do you play at?

Personally, I have GHIII and am playing on Medium and can't see how it would be remotely possible to play any higher. For me, when it gets too difficult it kind of takes the fun out of playing. What do you think?
