Sorry, I got carried away talking abt Marvel. I love that game!

Thxs for the compliment... I liked the game because my husband has been playing it since it came out and he never managed to get a black pearl... and I got 3 of them within a week of starting to play, hehehe. Yes, I love silly competitions! :p

He`s just happy I trashed his best friend`s score. lol

Yeah, I'm playing through by my lonesome. How do you co-op on Mass Effect? I didn't know this was even possible.

Your individual game scores showed up now. I have to say, I'm very impressed by your mad Hexic skillz.

We actually finished this game already in our other profile... that we had to give up when we moved overseas (stupid MS won`t realize that people could need to migrate their accounts between countries as well) So this time we`re taking it easy on the story and playing around with the characters and trying to unlock all the outfits. The missions for the weak characters are a b*tch!

Are you playing by urself? This is a great game to co-op!

I just got the demo for Spiderman FoF? Don`t know what to make of it yet

Cool, I just sent you a friend request. It is weird that it shows your gamer score, but won't show your games played. Sounds like you've gotten a little farther than me with it. I've done the Captain America challenge, but otherwise have been sticking to the main part of the game. I really need to level up; it is getting more difficult.

Right now though, i can't seem to pull myself away from Lost Odyssey. It has been out in Japan for a while. Have you been able to check it out?

I`ll add you! Our gamertag is Curpagan.

We got the downloadable characters too! And we have Iron Man in our team... We named it "The Crusaders" LOL.

I like to play with Spider Woman and Ms Marvel... Spider Woman has the single best ranged attack of all the heroes. Her venom blast, when maxed out, is actually amazing! And she can heal the whole team. I like Ms Marvel because I`m a melee player and her attacks are formidable, without me needing to look like a 200 pound muscular monster. Hehe

Dh is playing with Wolverine and Iron Man, Iron Man has some really good attacks, but I keep getting pissed off because his bullets kill all the enemies in sight and I don`t get kills for my characters! ;)

Characters to avoid: daredevil & electra... they r so really weak! We did their missions to unlock all costumes and wow it was hard!
Iceman and The Human Torch have some really nice moves, and Spiderman is lots of fun to have along... His lines are great!

Let`s play online soon :)

Do I have your gamertag? Mine is Razmigg. I'm a good chunk of the way into Marvel Ultimate Alliance and am always looking to play with friends online.

I got the downloadable characters, but not 100% sure on which ones to use. I've been using Iron Man due to the upcoming movie and have found some of his attacks very solid. Which characters have you all been using?

We have so little time for games too! And we`re playing Marvel Ultimate alliance together on weekends, while dh finishes Halo, and I play DMC4...

Still have not started Assasin`s Creed and I should move on with Oblivion! (My character is over level 40 now!)

I want to play as a woman in Mass Effect, but there is so little choice of guys to hook up with... lol. Oh, well, at least I won`t end up with a blue gal. :p

I need to get back to playing this game. So many games. So little time. I will have to make some time for it. I really need to get more time to do this. Darn those short weekends.

Congrats on finishing. I'm on my second play through as well, but not sure how I'm going to go about it. I created one female character who I'll have to start from scratch with. She is infantry, so I can get all those weapon achievements. However, I am playing on the newly unlocked Hard level and even had issues in the Citadel.

My leveled up character is a male biotic. I think it would go better for me to use him in the Hard mode considering he is already leveled up. However, I do think the female voice acting is a lot better.

What is everyone else's thoughts?

We finished our first play in normal last Friday. It was fun! We wandered about with everyone, so we didn`t get any achievements for being "allied" with any particular race.

We`ll play a female renegade next, hehehe.

Abuse the biotics & tech, it will earn you many achievements! I`ll go check what armor we were using and that stuff and see if I can give you some ideas :)

I just finished my first playthrough as a male adept. I had it on the easiest setting and usually had Ashly and Garrus with me. I'm now playing through as a female soldier and I haven't quite decided who to take. Do you have any recommendations?

This time I have it set on hardcore setting and am paying attention to all the different types of upgrades. On the easy mode, I didn't really give it a second thought...mostly because I kept using biotics to take the enemy down. Now that the enemy is harder to kill and I'm using weapons, it is making a big difference. I also want to level up as much as possible so I can play through a second time with a high level character on Insane mode.

Without giving away too many spoilers for others, what was one of your most memorable/favorite moments of the game? Mine was the whole mission that started with my "talk" with Wrex.

Hello there

I have Mass Effect and it is a rather impressive game! The depth of the story and the fact that they have created a whole universe and gone through the trouble of explaining the composition of planets, the religions and cultures of species, the history of each of them... I think it is a very neat piece of work!

Like others, I agree that the combat system is not the best... I am a sword kinda person so KOTOR was more my style... However now that I have leveled up enough I can say that I love Biotics and they are just so much fun! Singularities are the best, and I got it maxed out for 2 characters, hehehehe.

I`m still cursing about losing all my gamerscore when I moved internationally last year... Back to square one with it! Hopefully this and Assasin`s Creed will have some good achievements to go for.

Would you guys share with me your favourite team? What style did you chose? Are you nice or naughty?

Right now I'm playing as a mellow or even nice male. Next run through I'm going to have to go for the mean female. I can't believe they did all the main character dialog in male AND female voices. That is totally cool.

love Mass Effect!
but being the classic rpg fan, I am not too fond of the battle system. shooters for dummies, as the bf calls it. but then, if it would be harder I would miss out on the awesome story line!
love too, that I can play as female and change the appearance of the character.
I was in love with KotOR, couldn't stop really, and Mass Effect is up with it.
But I agree, it is not the most entertaining to watch if you are not playing.
A lot of talk and riding in elevators ;)

Hmmm, that is interesting. Not sure if I can get into galactic fire fights with the ship, but once I land on a planet, I'm given a space craft to explore with. I have a cannon and machine gun on that.

I was just given control of the spaceship two nights ago. This is where things get really cool. It is like I am Captain Kirk. I can walk around the ship and talk to the crew or I can just walk up to the command deck and order the ship to go to any planet in the universe. Yeah, a definite for you sci-fi junkies out there.

On the other hand, my wife (who doesn't game) says that this is my most boring game. Too much talking, not enough shooting or driving...she says. From what I read though, more women seem to play this game more because of the story and dialog choices. Go figure.

OK, I got a discount off a used copy and got to play this game some more. Here are my initial pros and cons:

+ amazing in-depth story
+ lots of rpg depth
+ beautiful graphics
+/- neat idea about combat, definitely not a clancy-type shooter
+/- lots of side quests, some may feel similiar

If you are at all interested in sci-fi or space, this is a really cool game and should be checked out. The story compels you to go further and is much more than human versus alien. There are so many options and choices that you will feel like playing through multiple times.

I finally got the game from gamefly in the mail, played a bit and then it kept stopping at the same point. I think it had a scratch in the disc.

As for the game itself, Lobo is right about the choose-your-way adventure. If you are into some serious story telling, this game is beyond epic. Some have ranked the story up there with Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. From what I saw, I will have to agree.

Cool enough. I wondered why you didn't get any achievement points with it. Usually you get at least 5 points somewhere in the beginning of every game.

I'm on the fence about this one too. I played KotOR and liked it, but never finished it. Didn't know how this compared considering its from the same publisher.

LOl. Oh. well that was not the game I popped in. It was a demo that you got when you pre ordered it. Just has a bunch of videos and stuff on it. Not the game play itself. LOL. Sorry.

I though I would bring this one back up since I heard some members are playing this right now and they might provide us with some insight on the game.

Really. Yeah but the lights go out right? I think I remember they do that too, but all you see is the lights go out and some noises. In this game you see them from the shoulders up and them going down and a couple arms here and there. Still nothing that would give it a AO rating.

In Fable they do cooking scenes too...

Yeah it really is. I watching this review on it and they say that the choices you make in the game determines the outcome. LIke they showed it on this program I was watching what you want to say when this guy has a gun pointed to your head and the showed that you can die from doing the wrong thing. Also you can build relationship with female characters in the game and has tasteful cooking scens where you do not see bad stuff like GTA 3 San Andreas did a few years back. Looks good. Like Halo your trying to stop an invasion from making man kind extinct.
