So let's rephrase the challenge. Step away from the electronics!!!!! Only exception I will leave is the radio/ipod. You know what great motivation music can be.

I've been working on my flower bed and have a radio in the garage. Before I know it, at least an hour has gone by.

My whole point is just trying to get everyone up off their butts and moving just a little bit more. Every extra step you take and move you make is going to bring you closer to your goal. And staying out from in front of the TV/computer will help keep you from munching out of boredom.

Well, I cleaned the pool and got in about 30 mins of actual workout time in the pool.. so that's a start.. oh earlier today daughter and step g/k went looking at yard sales.. it was hot and did a lot of walking so that should help with getting me starting

OK ..I'm like Mikeeo.. I very seldom have the tv on when I'm here alone.. my problem is this darn computer.. I'm a facebook nut .. as far as my workout today .. My daughter and I have been out looking at yard sales and it is scorching hot.. so we got in some good walking .. I may try to get in the pool a little later and do some exercises..

I'd get a good workout in if I would drag all the luggage upstairs.. it made it to the back door Sunday and that is as far as it got.. hhmm that may be a goal for the day .. I can't believe I took so much and I tried to limit myself lol

That is a great idea. My problem isn't as much the TV as it is the computer.

So I will "push away" from the desk and do something.

Leave the TV off for an extra 30 minutes every day. This simple challenge will surprisingly get you up and moving more than you realize. Listening to the radio instead isn't as much of a distraction allowing you to do more around the house and be more active.
