Thank you for the information on the recipe book. When I began in January I had 90+ lbs. to lose. Between January 14th and my last weigh-in on Thursday May 8th I have lost 22 lbs. I lost 13 lbs. the first 6 weeks and have steadily lost 1 lb. a week since then and am hoping to maintain that rate. My metabolism is slower than average due to my age, long hours at a sedentary job and a borderline low thyroid. I now have about 70 lbs. to lose and expect to be on Nutrisystem another 12 to 18 months. I am on the weekends off program so there are two days a week that I eat regular foods in sensible quantities and I eat out at least once a week.
The best thing about this program is that it retrains your eating habits and it takes time to accomplish that retraining to solidly reset your way of eating. The initial weight loss was great but the real lasting benefit comes over time. I wish you the very best on this program and look forward to hearing more from you.
Hello NS buddies!
I was checking out the forums on the NS website and discovered a cookbook that Peter W's recipe collection for Nutrisystem. Some of the recipes look really good! Is anyone familiar with these recipes? Are they NS friendly? Does anyone know of any recipes online or cookbooks that follow the NS program?
