Someone also mentioned to me to add in some spinach. I had the same recipe for dinner but will try it next time with the spinach.

I try to avoid mixing fats with fruits. Not a good food combining. Fats block sugar from being absorbed into our cells which then causes spikes & even candida overgrowth.

Occasionally I'll have dates with coconut but not in large amounts as I would with a smoothie. This would be okay in a small amount maybe as a snack.

I need to research maca a bit more.

Try adding some maca powder...that adds a really nice "malty" flavor. Also...add chia seeds for some good omega 3's.

Had two of these smoothies yesterday. Tasted like mocha ice cream!

I used

5- frozen bananas
3- regular bananas
2- TBSP raw carob powder

Whip it up by pulse blending

Yum!
