Could someone please give me some advice or tips on how deal with an upcoming situation :
beginning of November I am to spend 4 days with a group of friends away from home to celebrate one of my closest friends birthday.
They are all very much into food and cooking : mostly meat, antipastis dripping in oil, cheeses, wine and liquor. I will not be in control of my food most of the time. Plus I will be loged by the friend's family and they're French, so you can just imagine the craziness with croissants, brioche, butter, jam and the lot.
I have just started 80/10/10, feel motivated and good about my fruit, veggies and small amounts of nuts, water and infusions. So I am dreading these upcoming 4 days, as I really don't want to explain my eating, nor make it a topic of conversation (justifying annoys me and bores me). Plus I don't want to appear perculiar and rude.
HELP, how should I go around this ?
