I could see myself auditioning for a small part, but not a main role. I live in a rural area, so our community theater is small (but all the more reason for people to get involved). I have enjoyed all of the performances that I have attended at my local community theater.
Used to do that with my mom years ago; we'd get in the car..packed for at least two overnights, and take off. with no destination in mind... just sort of..where should we turn? and we'd take turns choosing. Once we ended up at the North Shore of Minn, another time down in southern Minn and took the river road all the way to the twin cities area and then home..we stopped along the way to eat, tour museums, antique stors, we looked at rivers, lakes, birds, and did lots of visiting. Not long trips by any means, just nice getaways usually in early spring around the time of the year dad had died as those were hard days for her.
Would you ever audition for a play in a community theatre?

In the spirit of Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham, let's start a new game! The first person will name something to try--it can be a food, an exercise, an activity, anything that you can answer the question "Would you, could You?" to. The next person will answer the question (just a simple yes or no is okay) and then post a new question.
Example: 1st post - Eat watermelon? 2nd post - Yes! Rollerblade?
