I notice on all the message boards there is an icon to subscribe. Is this neccesary? What happens when you subscribe to something? As you can tell I don't have a lot of computer experience and any help is appreciated. Also how do I get off a team page without going back to the begining? If I hit the back arrow it stays on this page no matter how many times I hit it. The only way I have found to get to a new forum is to go back to the community and drop to the message boards.

I had a friend in CA let me know their Sparkname, but in the search field at the top of the page nothing came up. Where do I search for friends specifically? All my Friend page says is to go to their sparkpage and add them, but how do I find their page? I know this person is active since she just facebook messaged me 2 minutes ago. Thanks for the help!

To add a friend you know, You need to know the name She or He is using for SP. Not everyone uses their real name. Then add Her or Him. They will get a request asking permission to add you. :)

Where do we find those graphics I often see on other Spark Pages that say : "Lost 3 Pant Sizes with Spark" or "Creatig a New Me", or some other encouraging milestone. I've searched, to no avail...and When I've asked around, no one seems to remember.

One member said hers came from the Spark Success Gallery when she edited her photos. I can't seem to find that link.

Never mind, as soon as I posted I figured it out. Just divide the stated number of servings by the number of actual servings. In this case it would be 0.7 servings. Thanks!

What's the best way to change the nutrition information on a SP recipe that is divided into more or less portions?

I tried one that was to yield 5 portions, I decided to use 7-1cup portions from the recipe as printed. There is a difference of almost 100 calories which we all know can be a big factor at the end of the day.

ShellM618 to find your miles per min divide 60 by your speed, so if your speed is 3.5, 60/3.5= 17 min/mile

what do I use for incline 4...as there is no 20% ?
and how do I know what # min/mile to use?

ok...checked tab again...
that works except there is no 20% tab...what do I use?
Also if I am doing 45 minutes ....do I just put...

More help please....
under the cardio tab....there are several treadmill choices....not sure which one I need.
My workout is ....
Mon 45 min @ incline 0 @ 3.5 mph
Tues 35 min @ incline 1 @ 3.5 mph
Wed 30 min @ incline 2 @ 3.5 mph
Thurs 20 min @ incline 3 @ 3.5 mph
Fri 15 min @ incline 4 @ 3.5 mph

My time and incline changes...my speed stays the same. On the tab it includes min/mile ....not sure what mine would be or % incline ?

Thank you so much! You have been a great help! I have been playing around with it and this is what I have done......I went under Manage Workouts and made 10 workouts ex. Monday-AM , Monday-PM , ect.
And then under each one of those I put in my workout...looks like this will work well.....

Hi, click on your fitness, upper right hand corner, it says enter strength training. look for user entered. Then enter your exercises.
It will enter it. Then click favorite. It should line up everyday and all you have to do is check it off, if done.

Help Please!!!
For Fitness...I have a routine that I do Monday thru Friday. How do I enter the information? Am I able to enter it one time for the week....and have it come up every week under the Strength Training and Cardio tabs? Or do I have to just enter it daily under the QuickTrack tab? I have had lots of questions on "How to at Sparkpeople.
This thread is for questions. All you do is ask and you will get an answer. I, DEMI or another member that knows the answer will post here.
The first one is: Is How to add a signature Link? ( That's the Place where you see my teams under this post. You can add a link to your page for Practice.(LOL)

Go to your SparkPage
Click on Edit My SparkPage
Scroll down to Personal Signature

Type in the name of your team
Hit Enter
Click on the Orange Add Link Button
Type in or copy and paste in the link to your team
Click on Add A Link

Go back to the Personal Signature Box
Type in the name of your team
Click on the Orange Add Link Button
Type in or copy and paste in the link to your team
Click on Add A Link

Repeat the above for you next team.

Be sure and click on the Save Your Changes Button.


You can do anything, you set your mind to do.
