I have never done one of these but always admire people who do - not sure I'm ever going to be one of them but 'never say never' - good luck!

Best of luck! I have done a few mud runs, but never the Warrior Dash. I had some friends do this race last year, and said it was a lot of fun.
Best wishes to you!!! I think I will do a mud run/warrior dash at some point in my life just to say I did it, but after volunteering at the Survivor Mud Run in Elsinore last year, I got my fill of mud for now! LOL But someday...
At any rate, I can tell you that the people passing through the water stop alternately looked like they were having the time of their lives or were ready to just die. :-) My one word of advice has nothing to do with training as I don't even know where to begin to train for one of those things, but if you do one, do NOT wear contact lenses without wearing goggles that will keep out mud. I can't tell you how many people we saw coming through with eye issues because they were wearing contacts and the mud would get in their eyes and scratch the lenses.
