I weighed in this morning and I was at 277.6... a 3 lb. weight loss from my last weigh in.. woohoo!!!

But I'm gonna give myself a very difficult Valentines goal weight, but I'm also going to work very hard at achieving it. I will be 275.0 lbs. So that means I have 2 days to loose 2.6 lbs. I'm gonna really push myself and really try exageratedly hard to get to 275 by saturday.

I would like to lose a pound a week so that is almost 4 pounds. That would put me at 140.
Walked 15 miles on Sunday to get me started. My son is home from Iraq and finished his first marathon. My daughter, sister and I walked together as a way to support him. Longest I have ever walked.

Well Ms Proverbs, you're looking at losing 13 pounds, my overall goal is 29. 1 pound a week doesn't seem like much, but I've spent five months (4 not counting the holidays) and haven't been able to keep the pounds off. I yo-yo. I think our challenge is the same ... lose those pounds. We can do it!

Cherie, I'm joining you in trying to get to 150. My weight is up and down right now 2-3 lbs, so I'm pretty much where you're at. I can't seem to get past this 152 mark and then it'll go up to 154...aaghh!! so frustrating. I'm pretty good about counting my calories and I work out pretty routinely, but can't budge the scale. (I'm in menopause and don't know if that has anything to do with it.)

Anyway, so I'm aiming for 150 by Valentine's Day. Good luck everyone! Can't wait to see how you all did.
