Well...here I am almost a year later and managed to be at square one again. My motivation is so low and at one point I was going to the gym faithfully 3 days a week, lost over 20lbs and have since gained it back. I am ready to start once again. I am asking everyone to pray for me and to keep me encouraged, please. Also if anyone is in the Los Angeles(south bay area)who wants to help whip me into shape, let me know..I would love a workout buddy. Thanks and have a blessed day.

Acutally, I have been sitting (entirely too much) this past week. Now that school is back in session and I have to work around the kids' schedule it will take me a while to reorganize my schedule (just when I finally had the summer schedule down...) ;-)

I've recently become enamored of the inclined elliptical machine. It doesn't hurt my knees and I burn a lot of calories. I'm working on my stamina so maybe I can do all of my cardio on that machine and can skip the bike. Maybe.

Hi, since we're somewhere in the middle of September I'll need to prorate this: Including today there are 17 days left in September. My goal is to do 30 minutes of cardio a day so that would leave 510 minutes this month.

LOL, I had to get a haircut. It's short and when it gets too long it drives me crazy! The last time I got my hair cut, my daughter did it and she lives 7 hours away! I couldn't wait until she comes to visit again...
Today I didn't skip the gym. Elliptical: 20 minutes Circuit training: 30 minutes Exercise bike: 16 minutes

On a side note, I'm jealous that you skipped a day and got a hair cut. I so badly want to get mine cut, but my go-to gal is on vacation! Swimming does really nasty things to my hair.

Is it just us? Oh well, we're about a week into Sept, so here's where I'm at: Today - swimming 70 minutes (2800 yards)
1700/1202 Did I enter that right? 1700 is my goal, and I've exercised 498 minutes, so that leaves 1202. I'll assume that's the ways to write it unless someone tells me otherwise.

I'm new to this thread, but I'll just jump right in here. I'm training for an event later this month, so the numbers should be uncharacteristically high for me. 1700/1510
I skipped the gym today and got my hair cut. I needed it. I promise I'll make my goal in spite of missing a day.

Good morning and welcome to September! This is the thread where we post our exercise goals for the month and then track our progress. It's simple: post the total number of minutes you plan to work out all month and the second number is the number of minutes you do exercise subtracted from the first number (see posts below to see how it works).

800/-142 I went to the gym tonight and worked out for 70 minutes. It helps a lot to have a variety of equipment and machines to work on. I don't get bored.

Had a horrible virus and didn't make it to the gym for the last few days. But I was back with a vengeance today. 25 minutes on the elliptical, 25 minutes on the recumbent bike, and 30 minutes of circuit training.

Yesterday: 15 minutes on the elliptical, 30 minutes of circuit training and 25 minutes on the exercise bike.
Today: 16 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes on the exercise bike. Yay!

I was watching the Bachelorette last night (yes, I know it's tripe) and looked down to see I'd been on the exercise bike for an hour! Later I told my boyfriend we have to get Tivo so I can watch better programming!
