The current summit is: the Real Food Summit, and it started today. There so far appears to be a LOT of overlap with the Paleo/Primal folk which I tend to support -- though I will eat more legumes...)

The way it works, is that three video presentations are posted per day during the summit, which lasts about a week. These are free that day, based on Pacific Time. You can sign up, or not.

I've already watched a couple today: One on seafood (Chris Kessler) and one on sweeteners (David Getoff) both awesome. I still have to watch the Joel Salatin one (but I've toured his farm and already have a couple of his books, and seen him in Food, Inc, so it wasn't a priority).

If you have the time during this week, catch whatever you can. Otherwise, go to participants' websites and catch up that way. No real need to sign up, unless you want to purchase the videos after the event is over. Anyhow, this is a resource, for the week...

Got rid of the ticker cuz my scale decided to flatter me unduly. I haven't re-gained, just got a better, honest, scale.

Just because you steam it, doesn't mean you can't add herbs and spices. (A gripe at those insipid restaurant "healthy choice" menu selections.)
