I'm sorry your husband has to deal with this - makes me all the more eager to go have some saag paneer or curried broccoli with a dessert of berries soaked in red wine. For those of us healthy enough to keep whatever food we want down, why aren't we eating more of these things? Delicious, nutrient dense, and at least some of them are pretty inexpensive, too.

Thanks so much for the helpful website. As of Sept. 2007 my husband has been fighting Cancer for almost 2 years, which has now spread to his liver. I myself have done alot of research and studying on Cancer, health and diet. Everything from the power of prayer to health foods to help SAVE my husbands life or at least prolong it as best i could.
Funny thing is, I'M the one eating most of those SUPERFOODS and i don't have cancer, but at least i will help prevent it and stay healthy. I do try to encourage him to eat those foods but most of the time he has a hard time eating due to all the meds he's taking for the cancer. He usually has an upset stomach and is in pain from his liver. Just this morning while i was still in bed, i heard him in the bathroom vomiting. He is still going through chemo at the present time. But i am always thankful for any helpful info. or suggestions.
AWESOME!! Maybe we're the traveling gypsy team, hahahahaha!! but, I'm really needing to get into eating MORE whole foods too!! Maybe we'll all get WAY better at this since we've got each other to lean on!!
