Ran for 30 minutes Saturday morning, and in the afternoon took a 3-mile walk. Sunday was a day off. Today I took a 45 minute walk.

emoticonemoticon Completed my second 5k this morning! This time I was able to run the entire distance and improve a bit on my time, last time (on St Pat's day) I got 39:57 or right around there and this time I got 39:23, not a big difference but still improving!!!

This week I have Cardio Mon, Wed and Thurs. Today I did 32 min on the treadmill, 2.50 miles distance and I burned a little over 300 cal. My knees are really killing me. I've got our 2nd 5k on Wed. not looking forward to it!!!

I did 10 min on the stationary bike and 40 min. on the treadmill.

I completed my first 5k yesterday!! It was crazy I thought I was going to die either that or my legs were going to fall off! My time was right around 39:55, I had to stop twice. It really felt like it lasted forever. My thighs are really hurtin today!!

I did a 32-minute run/walk on Thursday, and then slacked all weekend because it rained continuously. Today I ran for 30 minutes and walked for 20.

Sunday I danced for at least 2 hours straight!

Today I had to hustle from one end of the airport to the other to catch a connecting flight. Probably would have been a lot harder a year ago.

For this challenge, we will complete a cardio workout 3 days a week. This can be whatever cardio activity you like. 3 days a week is the minimum, feel free to do more!

We'll start our challenge on Monday, March 9, 2009 and complete it on Sunday, May 3, 2009. This challenge will last for 8 weeks.

Post in this thread when you've completed an activity. No need to post that you will or won't be participating, just jump right in starting tomorrow!
