Hooray! The fall academic semester is over. Now what? It's great to get a break from the academic routine (teaching classes, going to classes, applying for jobs, planning for conferences), but not a great time to take a break from you healthy lifestyle activities. Celebration temptations lurk around every corner, and wouldn't it be easier to just take a break from everything?
So, to keep us active and accountable, I offer a physical activity challenge.
For this challenge, your goal will be to do something to move your body at least 3 days a week. This can be whatever activity you want it to be, from your regular workout routine to mall walking to a dancing at those holiday and new year celebrations. 3 days a week is the minimum, feel free to do more!
We'll start our challenge on Saturday, December 20, 2008 and complete it on Sunday, January 11, 2009.
Post in this thread when you've completed an activity. Certainly each of us can get in 9 activities during this time. No need to post that you will or won't be participating, just jump right in starting tomorrow!
