I can handle 7 but prefer 8. I would say I'm almost always on the verge of a nap but only take them on weekends. I'm too sluggish for my own liking! This is a subject that I've been trying to get some insight on lately so I'm curious to see all the answers come in! emoticon

I need at least 8 hours of sleep, and if I don't get to bed before or at 10pm I'm really exhausted no matter how long I sleep. Also, if left I sleep about 10-11 hours but am groggy all day after that.
So hitting the right time and amount of sleep is really hard.
Currently I get about 6-7 hours when I'm shifting and it's not ideal at all.

I also wake up at 8:00 or 8:30, no matter how late I went to bed, but usually I am fine with 6 or 7 hour of sleep...

Will - thats not very much sleep at all!

My schedule is supposed to be in bed by 12:30 am, up at 8:30.
As long as I get about 6 hours I'm OK, but I'm better with 8.

It is really hard for me to sleep past 10 am no matter what.

If you aren''t a loser, you can be!

I really do not know how much I would need. I sleep, usually, 3-4 hours a day... The nights I am off, I can manage to sleep up to 9 hours...

Hello again,

How much sleep do you need? And how much sleep to you usually get?

If left on my own I like to sleep about 10 hours, but I can't seem to sleep past 8:30 no matter what time I go to bed. I usually get about 7-8 hours of sleep.
