I can cook. I'm learning to be a better cook and do fairly well if I have a recipe to follow.

I try to cook seasonally, which is slim pickings at the moment. I don't think I can eat any more sweet potatoes.
I am always looking for easy vegetarian recipes than my kids will enjoy.

I'm a pretty good cook when I actually take the time.
Sometimes on our day off we stay home ALL DAY (rare in our lifestyle) and I play in the kitchen all day making all 3 meals!
Baking is new to me, but I have a Betty Crocker cookbook so I'm always trying something new.
My newest thing: Scones!!! Basically, as easy to make as biscuits, just a few more ingredients!

I'm not a great cook. I like to make stews and casseroles. I have terrible luck with muffins and bread. My husband is a really good cook.

Yep - it's both hubby and my passion, although he's more of a griller and I'm more of a baker. Often we'll pick something out of a gourmet magazine (or lately Julia Child cookbook) and cook all Saturday afternoon.

Sure, cooking is very relaxing for me. I average only 1 meal out a week; the other 20 I make myself :-)

I can cook and bake, but not gourmet by any stretch of the imagination. (I make great beans and rice, oh and soup.)

I'm not a gourmet cook, mainly b/c my family won't eat anything that they can't identify. lol But all in all yes I can cook, I enjoy it & baking. Not sure where I got it from I'm about the only 1 in my family that can! That why I am always in charge of family get togethers. Lucky me!

I can't say I can, I follow the recipes too. But right now I am very good on following, and ususally they turn out very good. I just need to start taking some risks now!

Good morning! A little late, but still morning! LOL Today’s question: Can you cook? Everything? Well, I used to be that kind of guy that couldn’t even boil water, but I have been learning (another of the Sparkpeople changes in my life). I do need to follow a recipe although I already can wing it a little bit. My creamy broccoli soup is fabulous (my friends fight over it! LOL). But in a general way I still say I cannot cook, since my “skills” are very limited.
