-21C in Turku, Finland, about 6 Januarys ago. Actually it didn't feel that cold. Everybody was going about their normal business ... office work, couples strolling by the river, joggers in the park. I went out and took lots of photos. I remember trying to send an SMS and the phone was so slow; for every key press it took about a second for the character to appear on the display.
The previous day in Helsinki was 'only' -15C but with a strong wind blowing it seemed far worse. Even my Finnish friend gave up on our walking tour of the city and suggested we go back to the hotel.
