it is funny that you people that liove in colder places do not "record' your coldest temp. Since i came from a wamer place to a warm place (in the US) every time the temp goes down is a new record for me! LOL

Well just last sat it was -9F with windchill and 12F w/o the windchill. I hate the cold so I try to forget, hard to do here in PA we have some rough cold winters. We always have at least a couple of -0 days each winter.
I can't change my past, but I can change my future!
Hmmm...I lived in Ohio for most of my life, and there is would easily get down in the single digits and below zero with the wind chill. But I'm not sure of the exact temperature. Here in western Oregon, the coldest has been in the teens somewhere with the freak weather we had a few weeks ago. Brrr.

-21C in Turku, Finland, about 6 Januarys ago. Actually it didn't feel that cold. Everybody was going about their normal business ... office work, couples strolling by the river, joggers in the park. I went out and took lots of photos. I remember trying to send an SMS and the phone was so slow; for every key press it took about a second for the character to appear on the display. The previous day in Helsinki was 'only' -15C but with a strong wind blowing it seemed far worse. Even my Finnish friend gave up on our walking tour of the city and suggested we go back to the hotel.
