Having just read Superfreakonomics, geoengineering. Apparently CO2 isn't a very good greenhouse gas in that it doesn't actually do a huge amount of damage (and reducing it too much will affect plant life). Methane does far more damage. They have some interesting things that we can do that would definately work but it's doubtful that it would ever be applied. Sadly most other things are really just tiny bandaids on a huge huge problem.
Reduce the use of oil, wherever we can: using our car for less time, using less plastics, recycling more and, like WINETART said, using clean sources of energy - BECAUSE THERE"S NO SUCH THING AS CLEAN COAL!

I was thinking about trying something that was suggested in the leaders team. I am going to (try) to post a daily question so we can discuss general issues (not necessarily serious ones. LOL) on a daily basis. Feel free to post a question on a day that it hasn't been posted yet. Shall we start?
In your opinion what would be the most important measure to be taken to reduce global warming. Just one!
