I generally just use them as a structure (recommend calories, protein, etc. per meal). However, when I get bored of different foods, I use follow it; mostly just for breakfast and lunch.
Pros - you don't have to think through a whole lot and you can use the system to make substitutions
Cons - it can be a little boring. It is the same formula with the same choices every day - no casseroles or what not to liven it up. I also wish it had a breakfast for dinner option because my family loves that.
