Well, it has been almost two years since I made this last post. In April 2013 I will be a member of HOG for twenty (20) years. It was April 1993 wheni bought my first Harley-Davidson. I bought an Ultra Classic Anniversary Edition which I still have in the stable. It now has over 92,000 miles on the odometer. And it looks and rides great.
Good morning, Team. I weighed myself this morning as I do most every morning and the weight was still hovering at 205 - it was 205.4. Does that mean I have reached my goal? Wow. How many days in a row does it have to hold for it to really count? This is so good. Now what do I do set another goal of 200? Or does this mean I am getting carried away with this zealous thought?
Good afternoon, Team! I got even closer to my weight goal. This morning I was 205.6 on my home scale and had an appointment with the dietician later this morning and her scale was seven pounds more than my home scale. She feels that my present weight for my age is good. I am still overweight but no longer obese. I felt that I wanted to hold my weight between 200 and 205 from hereon. When I started with SPARKPEOPLE last March 2010 I was 265 so I think with the help of everyone I have pretty nearly accomplished this goal and now I have to maintain it going forward.
Good morning, Team! I am getting closer to my goal. The scale this morning reported that I am down to 206.4 so that means I have about a pound and a half to go. Or I may reset my goal to 200 by June or July. Then I must maintain that weight going forward. But I still got to get to 205, right?
Good morning, Team. I have earlier set a goal to reach 205 by 1 May 2011 and right now I am at 207 but it seems to be more difficult to lose this weight to reach this goal. You would think that two pounds to go in three and half weeks would be easy beans.
Again, I was just checking in to see if anybody had set any goals for some time in the future. I know that I have an ongoing goal to be down to 205 by 1 May 2011. It seems to have reached a plateau as of late. I am sure I will get through it.
Good morning, Team, how are doing on reaching our goals. What time of day does everyone else do their exercise? I usually get up before 5:30 a.m. EST and perform my cardio exercise but today, Saturday I did not get started until just before 7:00 a.m. I am up to 50 minutes now seven days a week. Hopefully I will reach my goal of 205 pounds by 1 May 2011. I finally did get my BMI down enough so I am not obese any longer. WooHoo! And that certainly has helped my blood pressure be more normal.
I want to lose enough pounds through April 2011 to have it show a weight of 205 by 1 May on my home scale. And then I want to be able to maintain that weight somewhere between 200 and 205 for as long as possible. We can do it, right? I also want to be out riding by April 2011 since winter has been visiting too long this year.

I know the goal is for April but I've already started. I got 2 days of exercise and will be doing the 3rd today (this helped me reach my weight loss goal of 1 pound for the week). And I'll be going out for my ride later. :) THANK YOU!
