I had put 110+ hours in Oblivion and it was a great game. The extra DLC was great as well. But now that Skyrim is out, this should no longer be an option unless you finish Skyrim. That game is HUGE by any means and will take a long time to finish. I'm only a level 31 orc, but I've already put in 98 hours in this game. Elder Scrolls is where it's at.
I played Fallout 3 to 100% (including the DLC packs), but I just didn't feel as good playing that story as I did playing Oblivion. I never touched Fallout: New Vegas, so I have no comments on that.

I am biased because I love all Bethesda games.Played Morrowind which is the one before Oblivion and loved it. I am into the character/skills development and open world play. It did take a while for things to develop. Try different classes and races, that might help too. Some of the stories are kinda cheesy but overall a good game. I am wanting to get the newest addition, Skyrim.
Any opinions or ideas about Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. This game got such great reviews and people rave about this game, but I just can't get into this game. Don't get me wrong, the graphics are amazing, but I just can't get into the storyline right now. Any opinions or what did you think? Does the game just start slow?
