Checked the sodium in the one I had and it is 400mg - which to me is low amount.
However, since I don't use much salt/sodium at all - very rarely if at all I don't use "prepared meals". Everything I eat is from "scratch" - fresh or frozen - I think even that amount was too much for me since the scale was up this morning....
They have several meals - they call them "Simply Sensible" Fresh, Ready in Minutes
Beef Tips & Gravy w/Brown Rice
Lasagna w/Meat Sauce
Beef Pot Roast & Gravy w/Mashed Potatoes
Zing Chicken w/Brown Rice
the one I had last night was Mediterranean-Style Chicken in a White WIne & Rosemary Sauce and Bowtie Pasta (Target only had this one)
Not sure if I will try the others if and when I see them due to the sodium...but it's possible, if I know that I have a rush evening
NOTE: THESE ARE NOT FROZEN PREPARED MEALS - EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE PREPARED THEY DON'T HAVE THE AMOUNT OF SODIUM THE SMARTONES, LEAN CUISINE, ETC HAVE....THEY ARE REFRIGERATED......
Has anyone seen and/or tried the new biggest loser prepared meals??? They are in the meat refrigerated section in a supermarket. I found the one I just had in the section of Target where the "packaged Cold Cuts" are.
It was very good and easy to prepare. I am a W/W and the W/W Points Plus was 7. I had a salad and roasted veggies w/it.....
