We’ve gone from 59 members to 47, and some teams have very little activity. We’ll have five teams; three will have 9 members and 2 will have 10 members. There are still some members that are questionable as they don’t have a challenge template up but have posted a few times in the chat rooms, so I will go ahead and place them on a team. You will still be with your current team members; you’ll just be combined with another team. Depending on how it works out, you might have a new team name. If so, all you’ll have to do is copy your original challenge template, go to your new team challenge post, reply and paste in your original challenge template. I plan on doing this first thing in the morning, and will send out a spark mail to all of the members of each team.

I hope that you are enjoying this challenge and making new friends, as well as giving and receiving the support and motivation that this challenge is based on. Even if it’s just telling someone what’s going on in your life, it’s nice knowing that others care and respond to your posts.

Be looking for a Spark Mail in the morning from me. The subject of the mail will be: NEW ‘GET LEAN BY SUMMER’ TEAM ASSIGNMENT.

Hey guys, sorry I've been away from SP for the last few days. It's been hectic to say the least. This weekend was pretty bad with eating but I did get a workout in! Hoping to tackle Burn Circuit 3 tonight and hopefully jump on the treadmill after the kids go to bed. My youngest daughter has been sick the last few days so I haven't been getting a good night's rest. So hard to get a workout in when all you want to do is lounge on the couch!

How's everyone doing? Not a lot of chat in here... Yesterday I did Burn circuit 1, you know the squats with side bends? I did 20 lbs and today my obliques are soooooo.... sore. Guess that's a good thing but those are my laughing muscles making it far easier for me to laugh 'til it hurts.

Today I spent the morning watching my daughter's basketball tournament semi- finals. They won the first game then got creamed the second. Oh well, they played hard and had fun. Went to Dunkin' Donuts in between games and only bought a black coffee! Pretty strong moment for me. Burn circuit 1 week 2 starts tomorrow morning, woo hoo!!

Hello ladies. I apologize for being MIA. I thought I was recovering from the flu (slowly, but still recovering) but went to the doctor today and I have bronchitis. So I think I am going to have to drop out of the challenge. Between that and already having asthma it will be a while before I can start working out again...at least to the level I had been with CLX. I am sorry for doing this...I hope this is a great challenge for all of you!!

@ GINAHANNAH you seem to have an optimistic outlook on your weekend. Going in knowing that moderation is key is a good thing. My big breaking day is Saturday... also my day off from working out. I have a lot going on tomorrow and I'm hoping that since I'm busy I will not attack my pantry but it could go the other way and I may not make wise food choices... *sigh* Will try to spark tomorrow if I'm hearing that tub of peanut butter calling to me from the kitchen.

Hey everyone - by the looks of the challenge board, it looks like we're mostly easing into the program fairly well. Thursday is usually my "break-point" day after starting a weight loss plan on Monday. It's happened numerous times: I guess my body starts to really run a calorie deficit and fights back by getting REALLY hungry. So I've decided to bump my calories from 1,400 to 1,600 per day, just for the weekend. I have a friend's 40th birthday party tonight (theme: Martini-Gras) and a wine tasting/dinner hosted by my church Saturday. I'm planning to estimate as best I can, stick with my workouts and consume only half of the food servings at dinner. Oh, and only one drink per event, which I've already calculated and gotten ready to enter into my food tracker. Onward!!

@ BELIEVE_I_CAN sorry to hear you have the flu, stinks when it's the whole family getting it. I agree that the first snow is magical but now that it's march and I've still got about 2 feet of it (5 ft snowbanks!) I am ready to be rid of it! Add in the 14 degree temperature today and all I want to do is climb back in bed.

So today I did Burn Circuit #3, woo hoo, this is my first week of my second time going through the program. Hubby's doing it with me this time, yay! My hamstrings hate me right now...

Hello everyone! My name is Melissa and I am a single mom of two boys (ages 16 and 6). I just finished school yet again and started a new job this week. On top of that we all had the flu last week...it has been fun at my house!!
I live in the Myrtle Beach, SC area, but I am originally from Illinois. I do not miss the winters although one snow a year would be good to play in with the boys!!
I have started ChaLean Extreme a few times, but have actually stayed with it thru the Burn and Push months this time. I did miss the last week of Push because of the flu. I am looking forward to this challenge and getting to know you all. Right now I still can't exercise without coughing my head off, but I am hoping to be fully recovered by this weekend!~~

Hello! emoticon My name is Beth and I live in the Madison, WI area. I have also been on this roller coaster of weight loss over the last 3 years. Three years ago I lost 15 lbs on Weight Watchers but as soon as I went off of it the weight started creeping back up.

I have 2 kids and a husband, and also work full time outside of the home. It is very hard for me to get motivated and find the time to focus on my nutrition and exercise, so I am hoping that this challenge will get me going in that direction.

I LOVE Chalene Johnson and her programs. I have tried them all...Turbo Jam, Turbo Kick, Chalean Extreme (never finished formally), and Turbo Fire. The last time I did Turbo Fire I messed up my knee so my doctor suggested I stay away from the high impact stuff for a while. It's been a struggle because I really miss Turbo Fire!

Looking forward to this challenge and getting to know all of you!

Hi everyone! My name is Gina and I live in north Alabama. Karen - Maine is our favorite place to vacation! My husband has relatives in Belfast. We say we'd love to live there, although we've not been up there in winter yet emoticon . Family consists of husband and 5-year-old daughter. I recently started my own business as a patient advocate after a 20-year career as a newspaper journalist.

I've been doing the Chalene Extreme program for several months now, with lots of false starts, but I've made it to the Push phase. I also walk 30 minutes a day on the days I do the circuit training and do the cardio part of CE. My goal is to lose about 25 pounds by the end of this challenge (roughly 1.5 pounds per week) and then re-evaluate. I plan to start a couch-5k program next month (will replace the walking). Eating plan: I've discovered that the Carb Lover's diet really works for me. Yeah, I'm hungry around meal time but I can manage to not go crazy. I also incorporate elements of the Flat Belly Diet. Goal is to eat as close to 1400 calories per day, but my SP plan says I can have up to 1550.
I'm looking forward to working together to reach our goals!

Hello Red Robins!!! My name is Karen, I live in Maine (still a brr..... up here). I am married with two kids (boy 13 and a girl 11), also a dog and a cat. I run a bakery out of my house, have been for 11 years now so I kind of consider myself a stay at home mom but I'm busy all the time. My husband is a restaurant manager so together we are obsessed with FOOD!! I love it, but I enjoy healthy eating and I love the challenge of turning any recipe into a healthy one.

I started my weight loss journey about 2 years ago with Turbo Jam, and in September 2010 I bought Chalene Extreme and Turbo Fire... I am addicted to both. I work out religiopusly for 60-90 minutes a day 6 days a week. I've lost about 50 pounds, not bad, but I've fallen into a bit of a weekend binge cycle that has allowed 10ish pounds to creep back on, ugg.

I'm hoping this challenge will be a fresh start for me, I want to lose those 10 pounds again and continue to tone up, but mostly I want to stop with the weekend binging (always the day I don't workout) Any advice would be great. Hope to get to know you all!

This is where you will meet on a daily basis to offer encouragement and/or support to your fellow buddies. Spend some time getting to know your teammates. Being open and honest with each other is the best way to really get to know each other, and to be supportive which is what this is all about.

To reply to a specific persons’ post, I find it best using @USERNAME (or first name as you get to know each other).

Depending on who actually ends up participating (sometimes people sign up with the best of intentions, and then end up not participating, or have to leave, or can’t participate for a few days or a week which is perfectly acceptable), the total monthly points will be averaged by the number of participants in each team. Right now we have nine teams with 6 buddies, and one team with 5 buddies.
