Jennelle, I had 2 slices of cheese yesterday on my grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. I had no idea how much sodium was in that stupid cheese. It was like 600 mg!

@Beth maybe take a week before you get on the scale after vacation, I didn't after my trip to Maui and I regretted it... just jump back into the home lifestyle as soon as you can.

Started Push circuit this week, I am in love with the one legged squats!! Yowza!! It's going to be a good month!!

Any word on when our new 4 week template thingies will be up? Hard to believe we are already 4 weeks into this 16 week challenge.

Happy Monday Ladies. The snow is gone, sun shining and we have a brand new week to make some things happen. I'm full of life and energy this morning, despite the fact that I didn't get my morning workout in. I will definitely do it tonight though; no skipped workouts.

Hi Ladies!

OK, update!
1) Will update my points ASAP!
2) My laptop died...MAJOR virus, so I'm at my mom's right now using hers...I don't have money to fix it until my cheque comes in at the end of the month, so I won't be back until next week unless I come to my mom's again so I can use hers. Not cool.
3) Am tired of the plateau I've been on for over 2 months and started WW to see if there was a different system that would kick me off the plateau. Turns out I'm eating only 2/3 of the points I should be...and here I thought I ate a lot! So, I start that Monday and I'll see what happens! If I'm eating more on WW than what Spark tells me to eat...I can't log my points for that. Or, can I because I'm eating within range of the plan I'm on still...what do you think?
4) Had a celebratory dinner last night for reaching 100lbs and was blown away from the love and laughter. Almost 20 came to celebrate with me and I was truly touched.
I realized that some people spend their entire lives trying to find their purpose, their calling...they try to touch people and wonder how. I DO that, I'm finally one of the 'lucky' ones. I know what I want, I know how to get it, I'm doing it, and I'm changing others' lives too. I feel so blessed.


Woo! I feel great. Like, really wonderful and positive. I hope you are doing well and feeling the love I'm sending right nnnnnnnnow!

I'll be back Friday abouts, I'll try to get to a computer and check in sooner! Missing the group, but I've stayed in my points and done my working out, so I'm still getting points for us at least a bit!

Hi Bunnies. We got about 5 inches of wet snow yesterday and it's almost gone already. The weather is so unpredictable in the midwest. Of to do some grocery shopping now. Have a good rest of the weekend. Take care all.

The beach was great yesterday...we walked 4.6 miles....loved it!!!
Think today we will just be sticking around the house....maybe venture into the pool but its only 72....
One thing, I can not wait to get home and back on track with eating and exercise...everyday I say good choices...doesn't happen.....

@Amy that's awesome that you and your daughter ran together and congrats on the time!!

So in an effort to get out of my weight loss (or non-weight loss) funk I'm thinking about shaking up my workout schedule. I have been working out 6 days a week (Sun-Fri) for about 18 months straight now, I'm thinking I may back off a bit since today I start CE push circuit. 3 days on one day off 3 days on one day off... Still six days a week but I'm thinking with a break in my days my last 3 workouts of the week I should be able to give a little more intensity too, plus I'm hoping to confuse my body a bit. Gotta try something, What do you all think? I'm just dying to break out of this plateau!

My race was fun yesterday. I came in half way between my realistic goal of 44 minutes & my dream goal of 40 min at 42:01.
BUT
My daughter, who has only been running 1-2 miles 2x a week BEAT ME by a whole 57 sec!
Oh well, I think this has built her confidence & will make her want to keep running.
I need to put together a blog, but we had thunder, lightening, sprinkles, then ICE.

So veggie week is going really well, I feel great 5 days in, don't miss the meat, even surrvived a night out last night and then I step on the scale for my weekly weigh in... gained 1 pound, husband gained half a pound. Have stayed in my calorie range and everything, *big sigh*

Happy Friday all. Workout did not happen this morning; I chose to take a bubble bath instead. It felt so good but now i'm ready to go back to bed. We had snow and sleet here in Illinois this morning but it shouldn't stick around long. I'll do Push 3 when i get home tonight then it's pizza and movie night with the boyfriend. He makes this Mediterranean pizza that he's DYING for me to try. Guess I'll have to sacrifice my diet and eat it so he can stop bugging me about me :)

@Karen, WOW no meat for 7 days that is awesome. I did it once for a month and it was really difficult for me. Couldn't imagine doing it now though.

Karen, my daughter is 15. My advice is not to kill him. These early teen years are so hard. Was I that bad? I don't think so, but I'm sure when they look back they won't think they were that bad either, LOL. This past year has been a little better so I'm hoping that trend continues as she gets older.

@Karen I just realized that I hadn't added you as a friend so I just did so. Pray for patience to deal with his attitude and strength not to choke it out of him :(

My daughter is 17 now and ages 13-15 were by far the toughest. Take some comfort in knowing that it does level out.

Good morning everyone! Did Push Circuit 2 this morning and for the first time since doing CLX I had to press pause to catch my breath after the one-leg lunges. WOW. It felt great though. I'm really seeing some changes in my upper body which is a good thing. I forgot to weigh this morning but I think I might stay off the scale for awhile so I'm not discouraged. Clothes are definitely fitting smoother so I'm happy with that.

@Janelle, I agree when things around you are orderly, everything seems to fall into place. Good job on getting back on top of things.
@Beth, enjoy your vacation.

I walked 2.5 miles today which is my minimum. BUT, I also spent the day catching up on EVERYTHING I was behind on...I cleaned my place, did the walk, did all my laundry, even my couch covers. I organized my work area, and prepped my living room to be more workout friendly. I planned out the rest of my week, updated my blog, caught up on my health articles...I only have to vacuum, mop, and dust tomorrow and I am TOTALLY on top of things! It's so much easier to be healthy when your surroundings are organized and focused! So, even though I just did a walk, I was moving around all day, so that must count!
Tomorrow I'm walking another 2.5 miles, then doing HIIT 20, and maybe Stretch 40 if I have time, if not I'll do Stretch 10.

@Karen, I did Fire 60 after work today and I feel sooooooo happy that I did! Love that cal burn and Chalene of course is such an incredible motivator to keep you at your highest level possible!!! Yay!

@Amy, yep... heart rate monitors don't lie right? Fire 60 has been my biggest calorie burn yet (have only been using the HRM for a couple of weeks now, but I feel like I'm pushing myself to work harder to get those #'s up!)

Feeling a bit down yesterday and today, having some car woes. emoticon This winter really beat the crap out of my 10 year old car, just need to squeeze 6 more months out of it *sigh*, we'll see.

Good morning Bunnies!

So, I did Push Circuit 1 last night and I went way heavy on the weight but still making sure I could do at least 6 of each exercise. My new favorite move is the one-leg squat...I LOVED IT! It's like I could feel my bum getting tighter with each move and who doesn't want that?

I went to Walmart and bought two adjustable dumbbells that go up to 25 pounds each in increments of five pounds. The jury is still out on whether I like the weights or not. It keeps your workout area nice and tidy only having the two dumbbells, but I found that because Chalene switches between exercises so fast I was rushing trying to set the appropriate weight and a couple of times I just used the regular dumbbells that were close by. I do think I will like the adjustable dumbbells once I get the hang of them. They were $57 each, which is the cheapest price I've seen for them.

@Janelle, it happens to the best of us. We are glad to see you back.

Hi everyone!!! Ugh... I am so embarassed... have been MIA... I have been keeping up with some running and def. my food and water... just TIME is always an issue, so I didn't keep up with tracking on here... sorry for not being such a good teammate...

@Janelle I also have the phone app! It is so great... just hate to respond to people on the iphone.... I really have small fingers, but somehow when I type on the keyboard, my fingers seem 1000 times fatter!!! AND it self corrects me and isn't what I wanted to say... so I just use it to keep track of nutrition....

@ Janelle, glad your ankle is better!!
@ Kathy, if I remember correctly... Push you only work on one body part at a time ( no lunge/ lift combos) but you go much heavier and less reps (6-8). I am on my last week of burn, second time through the program.

This morning I did Fire 60 with abs 10 and stretch 10... my HRM told me I burned 895 calories!! Woo Hoo!! Sweating barely describes me at the end.

I'M HERE I'M HERE!!!

Sorry for the lack of communication over the weekend...SO busy!
My ankle is almost back to new, so this week my full workout returns and I can start seeing a drop in the scale again! Woohoo!
I'll be better this week, with everything - I promise! Doing the minimum for over a week has been really hard. I can feel my energy slipping and I don't like it! So, I'm glad to be mostly back to normal cause it was not feeling good!
I have to tally my points because I haven't done that and I need to input it all in Sparkpeople. I've been too rushed to add them on here, so I've just tracked them in my little pocket tracker I keep in my purse. I can't wait to get a new phone so that I can use the Spark mobile tracker...would make things so much easier.
I'm ready to drop some poundage!!!!

Hi ladies, seems you all have fun plans for the weekend. For me, I haven't left the house not one time today and I love it. My daughter took the dogs to be groomed and picked them up, then she ran errands for me. All she asked for in return was Subway for dinner so how could I refuse? :)

Karen, nothing too exciting for me. Tonight I've got our schools basketball & volleyball games of alumin & former students vs. the current kids. I'll meet with the running group in the morning. I'm 99% sure my daughter is going since one of her friends is. The afternoon is the monthly birthday lunch my family has. Sunday we'll be busy with church activities. That's about it!

So it's Friday!! Does anyone have big plans for the weekend? Tomorrow I am going to spend the day scrapping (been along time since I devoted anytime to this so I am way behind), Sunday my whole family is getting together to have our St Paddy's day feast, yum!! Hoping the weather stays nice, we've been able to resume our after dinner dog walks since the time change it is now light out at 7 pm, woo hoo!

Hi everyone!!!

Sorry I have been MIA lately... but as usual things have been crazy. I have to say though, eating has been in check and so has my workouts.... just not getting on here... and also not recording on the other page... sorry team!!!

I feel really good though, and I plan on checking in with you all tomorrow!!!
