Weeks 1-4 actually go through today, 3/29. I had my dates mixed up in the beginning. I plan on getting the next weeks' template posted this afternoon, but probably late. I'm on a deadline for a project I'm working on. I'll make an announcement of some sort when they're up, or just look for a new template for your team name. I haven't decided whether to reduce them to 2 weeks or leave them at 4 weeks yet.

Naomi, yes, you get bonus points for WEEK ONE for posting your measurements. So if you have your weigh in on Monday and take and post your measurements then you'll get your points. No, we don't get points for the actual numbers, just a way to be accountable to yourself, and also to see the progress you make through the rest of the challenge.

OK we get bonus points just for posting our measurements right? I took them almost two weeks ago and my weign in day is this coming monday. I don't want to have an unfair advantage by posting measurements from two weeks ago and then updating them like I lost that much in a week. Am I understanding correctly that this is just a way for people to see our progress and we dont' get points for the actual numbers? Thanks!

I see you have your template up. The daily challenges started yesterday, and they are under PARTS 1 - 4, W/D1, etc. All you need to do is just fill in the amount of points for each day, and then do the bonuses if you'd like to. Does that make sense, or are you still lost?

That would be fine. You could either set it to 1300 - 2000, or you could have two:
(1300-1600...maximum of 2000 on training days).

Thanks Susan but I feel in all honesty that would give me an unfair advantage. My avg cal intake is about 1400 - 1600 when I'm in "weight loss" mode, depending on what's on my training schedule. For the long runs, I may take in anywhere from 2,000 - 2,400 between fueling for the run & replenishing after. To have a range of 1400 - 2400 every day would give me too much leniency in comparison to others & that seems unfair.

How about, for example, I set 1300 - 1600 as my range & allow myself up to 2,000 on days when I'm running more than 10 miles.

Good question Deej, and also you're very welcome. I originally wasn't going to do a template like this, but decided to go ahead.

I think, considering what you're doing, that will be fine to make the adjustment. What you might do is set your low number and then set your high number to the highest calorie intake you would do, regardless of which day. That way, either way, you'll be staying in that range.

WOW Susan, THANKS!!!!!!!

I have one question, I'm a runner & am doing some intense training for a number of upcoming races. When running a distance of more than 10 miles; I increase my calories to accommodate my energy requirements but otherwise, I don't take in near that many calories. Can I give myself an additional allowance of calories only on days when I'm doing distance runs & specify what qualifies as such, or do I just need to stick to one specific range daily & not take the points on those days when I have to increase my intake?
