I have never been able to wear Nike shoes,. They tend to run narrow in size and my feet always seem to be just a tad to wide to fit comfortably. I had a pair of Asics that worked well for me. But like Valerie, once I found Ryka running shoes, those are all that I buy now. The are the best fit ever.

I used to be a fan of New Balance, and I still am, but recently bought a pair of Asics and I am in heaven! Love them! They're so light and well-cushioned. I bought a pair for my husband and I hope he likes them as much as I do!

Totally agree about getting fitted. I have super high arches and narrow feet. I had NO idea. New Balance works great for me. I wanted the Adidas to work (I love everything else!) but no dice. I also buy two pairs in different colors so I remember to alternate.

I used to wear Asics but I had sore feet. New Balance don't work for me. My favorite are Ryka's. Made only for women. Love them and I'm so glad I found them!

You really need to be professionally fitted for shoes IMO. And not every professional fit is correct, which I learned the hard way!

I love ASICS, Saucony and Ghosts. New Balance has never felt right for me.

What's your favorite running shoes? I love the Nike Woman's Reax 5 - they have a wider footbed for stability and way more cushioning for bigger me than most running shoes. Anyone else have a favorite running shoe?
