For the week of 7/5 - 7/11, we want to challenge you to remember your very first run.
Sometimes as we get comfortable in a running routine, we can get bored and we notice our mojo just isn't there anymore. When that happens, it can be very difficult sometimes to get ourselves out that door and on the road.
It can be helpful to think back to the beginning and try to remember the details of our first run...what was the weather like, where did you do it (the road, a trail, a track, a treadmill), how far did you run, how did you feel? Remembering these types of details can sometimes do wonders in re-sparking our motivation. It might even spark you to switch it up and try something new with your running.
This type of exercise can benefit you in many areas of your life...not just running. So if you feel like sharing, we want to hear about your first run. Maybe it can help a newbie by encouraging them or giving them some really good tips.
