Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Less than a month away and Christmas will be here. I really have no problem with taking a day or 2 off of normal eating for the holidays, but it really isn't in our best interest to take the whole month off. So let's make use of our time in early December to get healthier.
I'm assuming most of us ate more and/or differently on Thanksgiving. So, I thought a great way to get us all back on track would be to encourage eating a total of 5 servings of fruits/veggies each day this week. I find when I eat this way, there is less room for junk in my diet.
To ensure that I get this much in, I like to include a fruit at each meal and a vegetable with my lunch and dinner.
So, we'd love to hear from you on how you are doing with your fruits & veggies this week. And let us know if you have a way that you like to prepare your favorite fruit or veggie treat.
