The Go Lean Crunch. It is actually the best Kashi. It has like chunks of yummy stuff. The other ones are a little too bland and the texture is not so hot.

Yummy!! That sounds super divine...I'll have to try it :-) What kind of Kashi cereal does she use?

My mom puts chocolate soymilk in her Kashi ccereal and loves it. She says it tastes like cocoa puffs.

Love Kashi and soymilk. I'm going to have to get some milk and cereal this weekend.

I run at 5:00 am, so I don't eat anything first, but when I'm done, I have some Kashi cereal with soymilk to refuel. :-) I think that June's right in that it truly depends on the person. I like the pb & toast idea, though!! I'll have to try that.

It really depends on the person. If what you are doing works for you then stick with it. Some people have to eat before a work out some can't. I get up between 8-9 on a non work day, or afternoon work day and eat breakfast about 10ish. Then if I can I go jogging at noon. So, that gives time for the food to digest a little.

This is something I know VERY LITTLE about. I run at 5 a.m. so I have nothing beforehand. After my shower, I ALWAYS have 2 cups of coffee, then a little later, breakfast. Kashi cereal or granola bar, scrambled eggs with sauteed mushrooms or something. What are you SUPPOSE to eat and WHEN??

just completed my first full marathon 10-9-10!

I run right about noon time so I eat breakfast, today was pb on toast. Then do my run a bit later. Then I usually eat whatever it is I'm going to have for lunch. A salad with a little protein thrown in. Maybe a handful of nuts if I have them.

My favorite snack is a Granny Smith apple, either string cheese or 2 of those Laughing Cow cheese wedges, and some crackers. Yum. Fills me up and is very balanced.

After a run, I'm not soo good. I eat whatever I see...Which is exactly why I am not losing much weight.

How do you fuel up before/after a run?
