1. Dinner was full of vegs - stir-fry vegs & pork, all kinds of little sides of kimchee or bean sprouts or black beans - so tasty, plus great nutritionally!

2. Rested my feet today - haven't walked much over a mile all day. That isn't good, but two toes are still looking bad.

3. We're coming up with a plan - looks like, anyway.

1. Walked so much, the fitness tracker showed up with 1000 extra calories burned for the week, and proceeded to yell at me.

2. Helped DH locate and purchase (with negotiation) a traditional Korean dress for our adorable adopted niece - we're in her country of birth, and thought she might appreciate this. (Though she's only 4 or so.)

3. Ate in range, and even though I have a cookie if I want it, I'm so full I'll save it for tomorrow.

1. Got in some walking, even though we made it a relax day rather than a run around day.

2. I'm trying new Korean foods - today was bulgogi bibimbap (beef and vegs on rice - mix it all up - yum!). Korea doesn't seem to have many chicken dishes, though.

3. We tried to go to the casino, but we still don't have our passports, and they require passports for ID. So we left.

1. Took over booking our seats and luggage - DH had to go get some dinner to take his meds on time.

2. We had a huge lunch (burger on a mushroom cap for a bun, and side of truffle fries) - so my dinner was nonfat yogurt with cornflakes. Actually a very tasty meal! Kept my calories in range too!

VERY productive day:

1. Booked hotels for the rest of our time in Malaysia - 4 days in Ipoh (near the Cameron Highlands but also historic itself)

2. Booked rail travel, although we'll have to do some bus travel too, the train is booked solid for Penang to Ipoh on our date.

3. Decided to go to South Korea next, so we booked flights to Seoul for the day our visas expire.

1. I'm on my 3rd bottle of water today - had a nice long morning walk and must have sweated out a bottle or two!

2. 10,100+ steps yesterday and today.

3. Dinner today - chicken schnitzel, substituted a big salad for the mashed potatoes (that I don't like) and the peas and pumpkin (also vegs I don't like) - then, since I didn't have carbs, I had cake for dessert. (Yes, not good, I know, but I do juggle my calories so I can get away with cake at this amazing restaurant.) Anyway, the cake was big, DH was full, so I actually didn't even finish it! YAY for pushing away chocolate!!!!! (It was good, I just was full!)

2. DH lost car keys. I didn't get upset. He called the car rental company, we had to wait nearly 2 hours before the guy showed up with a replacement key. DH ate two brownies while waiting. I had a lowfat espresso frappuccino for all of 140 or so calories.

1. Walked another 4.5 miles yesterday. Good thing, since today was a train day.

2. Gave DH my train donut, and just drank water.

3. Looked at buying tickets to "Jersey Boys" here in KL, but prices are insane so we decided to be sensible.

1. Gave DH my donut on the train - so he ate two and I ate zero.

2. Dinner was a couple of snacks at a restaurant - smoked duck breast, rice, shredded lettuce.

1. Set up DH's pills for the next month - just makes it easier to put them into those week at a time pill boxes, so he's got his AM and PM pills to take (without waking me in the AM!).

2. Got my protein and calcium in range today - finally!

3. Researched places to stay for longer term when doing the TV series in George Town - though DH wants to only do this short term, so we'll compromise on it.

1. Took an hour or so to paint a batik at the market - way fun!

2. Had a lovely Japanese crepe for lunch - duck with salad vegs, and orange sauce, rolled in a crepe. So good!

3. Aiming to walk another 10-15 minutes so I have a minimum of 3 miles each day this month.

1. DH and I took a bus to the Genting Highlands.

2. This included a 3.4 kilometer cable car ride. And back. (He's acrophobic, I have vertigo - we were freaked!)

3. Walked over 10k steps (walked a hole in my toe).

1. Lunch was a turkey sandwich with as much salad as I could stuff on, and a side salad. (Buffet.)

2. Skipped the cakes that looked yuck, had some bread pudding instead.

3. Still ended up with calories at my low end. (Lunch was the big meal of the day.)

2. I walked 11k today - mostly shopping.

3. I bought size 12 slacks - I haven't worn a 12 in almost 40 years!!!!!! (I think they're a baggy style, but the waist makes it over my chubby tush!)

1. Dh bought hummus and baby carrots for snacking. I bought hummus and baby carrots a couple weeks ago (I figured he'd hate it). He really enjoyed it!

1. Went to our audition, got measured for costumes - and I lost an inch in my hips! (Don't know about the other measurements.)

2. Calories just under my minimum today - which is good since lunch was just a slice of cake. Really. I'm juggling calories and eating cake for a whole meal. Not the best nutrition but oh so tasty!

3. Got in a fair walk today.

1. Walked all around George Town, found new areas, and took the free bus.

2. Went back to the dr, am on new meds. New diagnosis. Just want the rash gone.

3. DH and I are in touch with a director re casting call for a British drama - gathering photos, scheduling our "audition" - we'll see what happens.

1. Took dd to a holocaust survivor presentation. She was an amazing speaker. It was very powerful. Dh asked why I was taking our 10 yo dd. I told him that she had an interest in the holocaust (we've read most of Diary of Anne Frank) and this may be her only opportunity to hear first hand from a survivor. We're both glad we went.

2. Judged and helped out with Science Fair. Enjoyed it immensely.

3. Chipped away at a couple of projects.

1. Got in some walking this week, though not enough due to rain. And I need to be careful of the toesies, the blisters are still a bit open and I need to be careful of infection.

2. Saw a dr, got both oral and cream antibiotics and anti-fungal meds.

1. Mostly stayed inside and kept my toes dry - very rainy out there, toes feel worse and the fungus is spreading to other parts of my body. Ugh. Will see a dr on Tuesday.

3. Worked with DH on figuring out what areas to NOT visit in Malaysia - a few areas are considered unsafe due to kidnappings and such, so we'll avoid those.

1. Got in 2.5 miles of walking, some of it indoors because today ended up being fairly rainy.

2. Bought 3 chicken buns (bao) for dinner, got full on 2, gave the 3rd one to a guy who was asking people for spare change.

3. Couldn't find fruit in the market (except cut fruit, and I can't trust that because there's always mango) - so I had a peach yogurt smoothie instead. Oh well.

1. Tried a new Malaysian dish (kway teow) - it wasn't great, but I ate most of it.

2. Didn't cave and finish it when DH did his "starving children around the world" thing. I invited him to get the children there, and they could eat it.

1. Mending - DH's T shirt, his hoodie (which was a pain). Hemmed my skirt that was too long, I got tired of rolling the skirt.

2. Lunch was a sandwich labelled "the healthy sandwich" - like a salad between whole grain bread!

3. Finished with the antibiotic cream and bandaids - so took it easy with walking, letting the new skin toughen up first.

1. Took dd to Golden Apple Nominee Ceremony. Dd nominated her teacher for the award.

2. Got most of my to do list for yesterday done.

3. Got paperwork to sign kids up for baseball and softball. I would have signed them up yesterday but didn't have time with the ceremony and I forgot my checkbook. Signing them up on Thursday.
