I know I'm late to the party but what I use for cardio workouts is Podrunner. They have music with a constant beat and several different tempos to choose from. I need something with a steady drum beat to keep me going on long workouts.
Believe it or not when I am running or walking I listen to Military cadences and as corny as it sounds it really keeps me motivated. For lifting I like godsmack, system of a down, really heavy, fast, music ____ But always COUNTRY in my pick up!

I like some metal and rock. Pantera, Slipknot, Linkin Park, NIN, GWAR, Hourcast, Dragonforce, AC/DC, Metalica, All That Remains. I go through alot to keep from feeling too monotonous so always looking for new artists

When I used a stationary trainer or biked on roads where there wasn't much traffic I'd listen to music that had an uptempo beat. I remember this as being very helpful. Now I'm in search of new music with the same uptempo beat but different from the classic rock I used to listen to. Caribbean, swing, modern, anything new that the young people are listening to. Suggestions?
